Nope. Believe it all you want but last year you were bullish on the team and what happened? Even an EE would be another massive miss with a roster that should be top 2-3 all year. It won’t be though not with our most important player as limited as he is. I called it last year was 100% right then and I’m calling it now. If wheeler is our ft pg going into March we are gone by sweet sixteen.

Wish Wheeler a speedy recovery. But hoping he also stays glued to that bench.
I don't understand all the negative wishes for a little guy in a giants game. Especially one that has led a pretty good major conference in assists for all three years he has played. At the least he gives us good depth and I am sure Cal will play our best chance to win. Geez.

Wheeler will be a big part of this team again and it will be fun to watch the pace he and our team this year can play at. Like a shot of jet fuel mixed into an already potent offense.

With Wallace in the mix now, Wheeler can have some pressure taken off him to always make a play, or push things in the half court.

Now he can let the game come to him more and pick his spots to push rather than try to force the issue.

I don’t have negative wishes. I just want the best on the floor and not favorites. I don’t have anything against wheeler I just don’t believe he is compensates for being a “little guy”. He doesn’t hit threes at a respectable enough clip to spread the floor. He’s wild an erratic at times. When he plays well he’s really good the problem is he’s very inconsistent. I think a lot of people want him to be a Tyler ulis and he isn’t. For this team to win a title it has to be with wheeler as a role player. The sooner he accepts that the better for the team. There’s nothing wrong with wanting success for the guy but in a limited role.

Thanks coach. Which church league did you coach?

Have we ever won big with a PG that could not shoot? Teague was ok. Way better than Wheeler.

Has any team won it all with a pg that couldn’t shoot? I’m sure it’s happened, but I’m not sure how.

We can still discuss it. Everyone knows Cal is too pig headed to admit he's wrong.
Wrong about what? Wheeler has been out with an injury and you're only SPECULATING as to what will or won't happen. Why don't you wait and see what plays out before going all Indiana Jones and excavating a lame thread from August?

You can't be that stupid. Do you honestly think Cal will sit Wheeler? He goes with his favorites win or lose. He doesn't care about the University of Kentucky. He only cares about his favorite's hearts.
