I really feel like if we get through the nerves against Providence and find a way to win we’re gonna be set up pretty nicely with our team seemingly being the most healthy it’s been all year

Once again, the people insisting Wheeler had secretly quit the team and those of us who didn't see it were idiots or Cal slurpers are wrong. Just like they were wrong about Tyty and Clark and Brooks.
When someone calls you a “Cal Slurper”, they aren’t very intelligent and will be wrong about most things.

I never said it publicly, but I did feel he was done for the year. Glad to have been wrong and I commend the young man for getting himself back healthy and being ready to do what he needs to help his team. Very impressive in what is clearly a tough situation for him.

Are all the people on here that said he quit gonna admit they were wrong?

Weren’t wrong. He did. He just wants to play in the tournament now and Calipari wants to rubshit in as best he can.

He had to have his minutes taken but Calipari didn’t want to admit he’s wrong. So he **** him down at wheelers agreement. Now it’s the tournament.

Some of you can’t be this far off can you

3-4 mins of Wheeler is enough to cause of 6 point swing. We've seen it before. Can't afford that crap tomorrow. Run with what we had.

Can’t wait until he gives up 6 points on defense, has a turnover, throws one up at the shot clock, but then hits a random 3, and the “ur a wheeler hater!!” Calipari fan club gets on here to tell us how wrong we were the whole time!!

No, it was obvious what was going on, and it was becoming a distraction, so they are going to do what needs to be done.

BTW, he hasn’t officially checked in yet, so don’t put the cart before the horse yet. 10-12 minutes would be the perfect supplement if he indeed does.

I don’t understand why people think supporting Wheeler = calipari fan club.

Wheeler makes me nervous too but if he comes out and plays well tomorrow I’m going to be through the moon and will root my *** off for him. Kids been through a lot and want nothing more than to see him succeed, even in a limited role.

When he gets the ball back with 3 seconds left, because nobody else can get a shot, do you want him to shoot it … or just take a clock violation ??

80% of this message board has him on ignore. He has Calipari Derangement Syndrome and has a hard on for the guy. Can’t get his name out of his mouth. Not the brightest.

I don't care why he didn't play the last month. I just know he can add some value to this team in the NCAAT. He isn't a terrible basketball player. Is he a perfect fit for this team? No. That doesn't mean he can't contribute this weekend. Little guards have had some success against Providence this season.

Obviously was part of the team that lost to St. Peters last year, Injury-riddled 2nd half of the year, boo'd at Rupp Arena (I was there and it was awkward as hell), and that's just the obvious stuff. Would be a great story to see him make an impact during a successful run.
