I think Mitchell is probably not gonna be challenged but I think Owen can challenge Heritage for 2. 4-6 could go any way. Poor Rosman. I haven’t been too excited about football for some time. Probably since we almost upset Heritage a few years ago and then obviously the Jager years. I think this Owen team if healthy may surprise some people. A lot of talent back and kids that have been working really hard. A new exciting coach which from what I hear the kids love and a coach or 2 back in the fold along with players whom haven’t played, transferred back to the school and some newbies. What does everyone have this year?

Looks about right. 4 thru 6 could switch up some. I’ve got a lot of friends who pull for the Green team and their expectations are low.
Is Owen really that much improved? Last year Draughn beat them by 4 TD and they squeaked by Avery. I haven't heard much at all from MH fans this off-season. They are either down on their chances or playing coy.
We were banged up vs Draughn. Didn’t have several key players including our QB and were learning a new system and had several turnovers early so it got out of hand early. Not a indicator at all. We have a lot back. We have had some kids who transferred out over the last several years all come back and had some other transfers as well. This group has a lot of talent. I’m hearing Heritage is small up front and may even try some spread because of it. It’s hard to believe Joey would run the spread but who knows. Draughn hasn’t even had a JV team lately so they will probably suffer from that.
I would have to see that to believe it, hard to even say Heritage and spread in the same sentence for me.
I agree. It goes against everything he has ever done but personnel dictates
I would say he won’t be solely spread. Just have more sets in it
Both Heritage and Owen open with Chase. Owen is off week 1. I don’t expect either to beat Chase. It may be an indication of how we stack up but I do expect us to get better as the year goes with yet another new scheme and new coach. Early on will be a lot of learning
Avery had a RB transfer to Mitchell from what I heard
I wish we played week 1 but it may be a good thing we aren’t since we are under a new regime. I hear really good things about us. Can’t wait to see it live. I think we could win anywhere from 4-8 games. You never know with teenagers

Everything going well, new field looks great. 42 on the varsity is what I'm hearing. Team is looking sharp from all reports.
I heard the qb may have hurt something in his leg or a hernia or something. Is that a rumor or is there any truth to that?

Rumor. Heard it early this summer but not showing in 7 on 7s or practice.

Just trying to generate some talk on here. It’s a little boring without the Green team people since last year. By all accounts Mitchell should be very good this year, but any team can be beat.
All talk. WHC doesn’t have many Posters anymore. Lots of people just spectate the boards. Wish more of those people would come on here and wrestle a bit lol.
In all fairness it is a lose lose to post on here most of the time. We are all passionate about our communities and football teams but if you say anything and it doesn’t happen then you eat crow. If you win then everyone says you’re just a one hit wonder etc. Its just a childish game being played by grown men. I’m just ready for some football
