I still think 7 or 8. And you can steal a game in Baton Rouge or Oxford if you play well. Texas is the only remaining game I think we have no chance in.

We’ve gotta get some guys healthier though and can’t afford anymore injuries.

We are a better team than we played today. We showed it the last 3 weeks. Just a rough showing against an elite team. But I think Bama is probably the best team we will see other than MAYBE Texas. And Bama may be better than them.
We’re not winning at LSU or UMiss.

There's a difference between losing a game and giving up a 50 burger and losing by 5 TDs on your home field. Surely someone of your vast intelligence level can understand that.
Yeah, and the difference couldn’t be turnovers or talent discrepancy. It’s just that the players didn’t try hard enough. Okay champ. Sure thing.

In case you haven’t noticed Alabama’s offense is really really good. Averaging 50 points per game. Defense gave up 49, and got little help from our offense.

The fact Puckett apparently really our #2 QB scares the hell out of me. 2 weeks of rest. and physical therapy should go a long way for KT.
Ok. No excuses then. The excuses are old.

He does look at little gimpy. But that was full blown diarrhea down the leg today. The usc game wasn't a great start either.

Great players step up and perform even in tough situations against good opponents. If he is just totally immobile, he needs to sit for lsu. We aren't winning that with or without him. How ever the remaining are winnable with a DUAL THREAT QB.

Given our injuries and the fact that KT can't scramble (and will probably be nursing this hamstring the rest of the season) I'm going to go with 7-5. It's imperative we get Fluff back to full speed.
We win one game in October (Oklahoma) and end up 8-4. That eighth win is either against Auburn or Ole Miss.

7-5.

Lose the next 3, then win 3, then lose to OM.

If that happens, it will be a reasonable progression, given the league we play in.

I still think we go 8-4 with a chance for 9-3. We aren’t beating LSU or Texas, but we can beat everyone else. Oklahoma is trash offensively. Auburn and Vandy aren’t good. Win those, beat Tennessee State and then see if we can win a shootout in Oxford against a terrible defensive team.

Well State needs to start preparing Puckett if it's that bad.
We’d be better off lining 3 up behind center and letting him run around the end. If AJ is that freaking bad, you cannot tell me we have good evaluators who even let him portal in. And Rashada? My goodness, how does someone fall from high 4 starts out of high school to 4th string behind Puckett and AJ?

I think Bama is a legit top 3 team, so I’m not throwing the towel in after this loss. Clearly Fluff would have made a difference in this game. I am reconsidering our Defense after this one though.

Things that are guaranteed to happen in the Fall!

Alabama beats MSU in Football.
LA Dodgers beat the Atlanta Braves in Baseball.
Temperatures still reach 90 in The South in October!

I had us at 8 wins going into today and still have us at 8.

Today was a pretty shıtty showing, but hopefully the bye week will allow us to get some guys healthy and sort some things out.

7-5. We have a tough road ahead but we should win the Vandy, OK and TT games. After today I think it will be very difficult to surprise anyone.

Did anybody really think they would win today?
Deep down I had a feeling that this game might get away from us early on. BC of several reasons, one of the reason was bc of what Hugh’s Burner Phone said about Trump coming to next week’s game between battle of the Undefeated’s. Also not having K1 at 100 percent or Fluff to block for him and to run the ball, also though our O line couldn’t block them. Also we couldn’t cover or tackle jack sh*t. Also when we held them to a fg and they kicked it. Their kicker completely flopped so hard. To be honest it seemed like a boxing match and we took a dive. I just hope KT and Fluff after a week off get back to or close to 💯. Something smells rotten about today’s game in a way.

In the season predictions thread I said 7-5 and could be talked into 8-4. Looking at the remaining games we have a very mid OU at home and bad AU team at home, Vandy and Tenn tech also at home. I’ll hold off on any Egg bowl predictions but. We could and should win all those remaining home games.
