The "Now-Cast" has Trump in the lead. The Pols-Only and Polls-Plus still project a Clinton win, but those percentages are low to mid 50's for Clinton now. A few weeks ago it was pretty close to 80-20 Clinton.Nate Silver?
It is going to get real nasty. Clinton is not Obama and Trump is no Romney.Looks like The Don is right where Mitt was at this point in 2012. Demographics did not change in the RNCs favor though, ignore them at your peril.

Could it be possible that you are the one wearing blinders. Hillary does her best imitation of Bill, but she looses ground every time she opens her mouth. I have faith that she could piss off the Pope within 90 days.Looks like The Don is right where Mitt was at this point in 2012. Well, for starters, her main competitor has already pissed off the Pope. Also, her main competitor just finished his national convention. Historically, candidates see a spike in the polls in their favor coming out of their conventions. I'm not saying that anything has been decided one way or the other, but Trump currently has a demographics issue - as most R's have had in recent years. He can overcome it, but I'll be surprised if he does. I should note, I've been surprised by the outcomes of elections in the past, so this wouldn't be new territory for me.Could it be possible that you are the one wearing blinders. Agree. Wouldn't it be funny (sort of, sort of not) to see Donald call Hillary a C word (Chachi) right in the middle of a debate?

And he got a boost out of his convention. She is pretty much locked into her sagging numbers. The Pope would not give her absolution because she is such a liar - and it is detectible by anyone who wants to look objectively. Her convention timing was poor. She needed time to let the bump from Repub smooth out. She had to kick her show off with an apology that that her parish priest could not overlook. Ladies night out has a new meaning.Well, for starters, her main competitor has already pissed off the Pope. Also, her main competitor just finished his national convention. Look at how smoothly the R's convention went (sarcasm), and Trump got a bump. I don't think she has an option on when to hold the convention. The party not holding the office has their convention first, followed by the party holding the WH. She was locked in.And he got a boost out of his convention. Hillary is going to have a terrible turnout giving Trump a YUUUGE victory
I've decided that I'm not going to criticize Ms Clinton as much as I have been..It's really non-productive..and I don't want to trip down a flight of stairs with a plastic bag on my head and fall into a wood chipper.Agree. You're dreaming. Don't underestimate the number of people that show up at the polls to vote against Trump. The only hope Trump has if the Independent/Progressive/Green Party candidates take enough of Hillary's votes to make a difference.
Comparatively speaking, why did you attempt to use sarcasm, the RNC went rather smoothly. Date of Dem convention was not locked in by anything Repubs did. That was a Dem party choice to only take a one week break between the two. I don't know what they saw as an advantage to have it so soon. Don't think there is a rule forcing such quick action. IMO, she needed more time to turn her downslide into positive and then have her day. Maybe time will tell us which was proper break time.Look at how smoothly the R's convention went (sarcasm), and Trump got a bump. I don't think she has an option on when to hold the convention.
