Is he really trying to sit down? Is he trying to take a dump? I'll give him an out and say there is a 5% chance he was stretching his back.

This is just sad at this point.

At this point you have to wonder if Joe's is trying to hang on to the Presidency to in order to have the ability to pardon Hunter.

If Joe resigns now, there is no guarantee that Hunter get's pardoned. It will be political poison for anyone other than Joe to pardon Hunter.

But Joe is not mentally capable of being the President of The United States. This is becoming more obvious every day and it is sad on multiple levels. Sad for him, sad for our country, which is being harmed by his ineptness.

Democrats are in a pinch. Joe doesn't want to relinquish power, but they are running out of time to replace him.

It's bad. He eventually had to get escorted out during the ceremony. His wife and those around him should be ashamed of themselves for making him go through with this. It's weekend at bernies in real life.

Remember pre-election 2020 (Summer timeframe), when Pelosi and crew asked for clarification on the 25th Amendment Section 3, and a lot of MAGA thought that they were trying to remove Trump pre-election BUT others pointed out that Biden was already in significant mental decline and the clarification was more in case Biden won, how could they legally remove him if he was incapable of understanding that he needed to resign ….

Ya …. We are seeing that play out now.

I think surely by Nov, either Biden or Trump will pull out of the race. Having an 80 year old president (Trump) or 84 year old (Biden) during the middle of their presidency is insane.

This is a joke that we are allowing Biden to run. And Trump is borderline as well. You shouldn't be able to run for president over the age of 72 imo even in perfect health.

How many 80 year old CEOs are out there? Corporations don’t allow that.

There's nothing to discuss hete. It's not about Biden, it's about not letting Mango Mussolini destroy our institutions while using his power to exact revenge on all his enemies, real and imagined. I'd vote for the other guy even if he was in his coffin.

Nothing to discuss here. Just an incapacitated president.

This. It is an absolute travesty that these are the two options we have.

I just don’t understand this line of thinking.

I certainly understand NOT voting for Trump, I absolutely do, but I don’t understand how anyone could possibly vote for Biden.

It’s evident that Biden is “gone”, so a vote for him is essentially voting for a nebulous entity which has no public face … that is f’n terrifying.

It's easy, voting for Biden helps to ensure Mango doesn't win. And are we really going to pretend that both options aren't terrifying? I'd prefer a nebulous entity over an extremely demented clown who wants to roll back our freedoms and destroy anyone who disagrees with him as his main priority.

Still significantly better than a convicted felon.
Trump is NOT a convicted felon yet, and may never be. The Jury voted to convict, but the Judge has not approved the verdict and may never get the chance to.

This will be overturned by the supreme ct.

Now have a hissy fit telling me I’m wrong, but I am right.

95% of voters will vote one of two ways - a vote for Trump or a vote against Trump. There is virtually zero enthusiasm for Biden. That’s why the republican primary was so frustrating. The GOP selected the one candidate who inspires the opposition enough to vote for a mentally incapacitated creeper with pretty much the lowest job approval in presidential history.

But because the GOP will nominate Trump, Biden will get more votes than any other D in history (aside from potentially himself in 2020). The one human being on the planet that will drive Dems to the polls in these numbers. Morons.

I disagree strongly. You are going to get a lot of anti-Biden voters after the last 4 years.

1) Highest inflation in 50 years and people are seeing their savings evaporate and the wealth divide widen. Grocerices are necessities and this category has one of the largest rates of inflation over the last 5 years. Voters will vote with their wallet and that's an anti-Biden vote.

2) Wars - We had relatvie stability under Trump. Biden's Ukraine war is largely unpopular. That's an Anti-Biden vote. (This goes in lockstep with #1 btw)

3) Joe has full fledged dementia. So does my mother in law and I've watched her get put in the home over the last few years. Joe's symptoms are identical to what she went through.

4) The Border - Joe capitulated this week and admitted total failure and at the same time implicitly took responsibility for the immigration disaster of the past few years. It's a huge problem and Joe totally failed as a leader and, in fact, was the cause of much of the problem. Illegals are eating into the Government dollars that traditionally go to democrat constituents. Lots of Anti-Biden votes

5) DEI - Blacks and Whites are tired of the discrimination and focus on race and just want an equal world. No more, no less.

6) Lawfare - our justice department is no longer about justice and will be a political bludgeon for both parties going forward. Disgusting.

I don’t disagree, but you support the one human on the planet with enough negative sentiment to potentially outweigh all of that. That’s the problem.

"Enough negative sentiment"

don't you realize that a large portion of that sentiment is based off of literal fake news? Since the day that he announced he was going to run for President they tarnished his name with demonstrably false attacks. Is he a Saint? No. But neither are any of the other candidates, including Biden, and nor are most politicians.

They have lied, cheated, and stolen in order to take this man down and you say the reason he can't get elected is because of negative sentiment?

I hope voters consider the threat to Democracy that Trump presents. Both candidates are too old, but Trump is the devil
