Damn, those are some good drinks. I have one ‘14 BCS left but it’s in Iowa City while I’m in the big city of Kearney.

So instead, sipping on some Gentleman Jack.
Beers and Fireball for tailgating at the game tomorrow.

I’m with ya, a couple/few of each year. Love those beers. Wish they were released on a different day though, tough to get when going to the game.

passed over my McCallan 12 and went straight to vanilla Crown on the rocks. It was a long day with 20some in-laws and needed to be on my toes. I'm eyeing my bottle of Burning Chair Bourbon right now. Might need a night cap now that the house has quieted down.

I'm on a road trip along the gulf here in Texas. Spending the night in Bay City. Port Aransas and Mustang Island tomorrow. Not sure if I will catch the game or not. I can stream it on the phone if necessary.

Brought a six of Hofbräu. Had a couple after 5 hours under six inches of ice.

I’m 4 beers and 3 fireballs deep right now. What’s everyone drinking today and how early are you getting after it?!

From a mentor of mine:

“Can’t drink all day if you don’t start first thing in the morning!”

To quote the GREAT Jimmy Duggan:

“Something worth doing is worth doing right.”

I’m sure I’ll slow down though.

I don't know about you and I don't know if you are tailgating BUT I have found that tailgating, pool and floating on the river are totally different in terms of how much I can drink and still function.

Those 3 things, I can pretty much drink all day...

If I am just at happy hour with some friends...by about the 3rd beer I am buzzing hard.

No grill-out as a drink all day function?

To be honest, I am the very old-school work hard play hard teacher/coach, so I can drink too much under most circumstances and very few people would notice. Not gonna lie, it’s starting to catch up to me though in ways that only me and the old lady recognize thank god...but I cannot tell if it’s the booze, or the concussions, or the booze+concussions, though I’m almost positive it’s because of the concussions. Very few people know how well teachers get compensated on the back end though, so I’ll be good eventually...though I do feel sorry for my wife.

And...IOWA SUCKS.
