For us to get to Iowa's level? I just don't get it. We recruit better than them every year, have a bigger stadium and won championships just 25 years ago. Why are they where they are and we are stuck at 3-3 with a joke of a coach?

Iowa's players are developed, taught discipline and not to beat themselves, Frost's players aren't. It is also helpful when some of your best players aren't leaving via the transfer portal. I mean, all schools have kids transfer, but most of them leave because they buried in the depth chart and won't see the field.

I believe the trial over the racism in Iowa's program will wear down Ferentz. It begins likely after next season, when K. Ferentz is 67 years old. Honestly, it may be sooner than later that the continuity at Iowa goes away and the Hawks revert to ... well, what they've always been. Meh.

Having an issue with what happened at Iowa and their complete indifference to it isn’t playing the race card, it’s being a decent human being. While telling others it is perfectly fine and they should stay in their lane is the opposite.

This. Who cares about 4-5 star recruits when they don’t get better or end of transferring. Also their best recruits are typically dline/olineman. While not flashy, those are the guys that win games.
we have got to stop wanting to blow up the regime at every sign of adversity. Iowa has had periods where they trended down, as low as 4-8 under Ferentz, and they stayed the path.
