I was talking to another worker in my department about the shut down last week...

he said that it was Trump's fault for the shutdown...

I asked him who he voted for...

he said Democrats, always...

I said "The Republicans beat the Democrats in the Civil War"...

"Why would you vote for the slave owners ?"

Dems are doing more to hurt their credibility with Blacks on race than anything Trump has said or done. They've always taken Blacks for granted and considered them too stupid to think for themselves, but clearly they've gone to that well one too many times and now many many Blacks see them exposed as the phony racists they've always been! Media has just helped them hide it.

You might think this would be an easy choice, but its not. The Donald is so disliked! Most blame him for the shut down which hurt alot of common people. He did not help himself by claiming full responsibility for it while letting Chuckie, Nancy and the press paint him hourly with legitimate hardship cases when it was just as political(maybe more political) for the Dems. Many of my friends have friends in the Coast Guard and NASA that were pretty deeply hurt by their cash flow problems. I just wish the Trump that did not wait till his term ended to pardon Alice Johnson or push for criminal sentencing reform would show his compassionate side much much more. He needs to be more likeable.

Now the press is slowly working in interviews with constituents that don't like any of the leader's college acts but are willing to give them a second chance. Some have even mentioned Robert Byrd's transformation and how much good he did for WVa and Blacks after his days in the Klan. It is the most hypocritical thing I've ever seen. But they are in power and there is no good lawful way to take them down. There is no clause for ethics/morals violations for impeachment in Virginia. Ralphie & Markie Mark have to willingly resign.

Just guessing here, but I think Fairfax will go down to take the public ire while Northam & Herring ride it out. Not because he is more guilty. He is actually pleading not guilty while Northam & Herring have admitted to doing the insulting black face. Just think the Fairfax problem of sexual assault will alienate more voters(women). His accusers are Democratic women. And I think the Dems will still want to use the sex attack tactics on the next key GOP appointees..... Fairfax has to be starting to understand what it means to be convicted in the court of public opinion for politicians with out due process in a real court. I just hope Republicans can pull together and use these gaffs to take back the state House and Senate.

My manager is African American, has a BS Mechanical Engineering. An MBA & carries a rank of Colonel in the Army Reserve. My Senior & Lead Engineer is also an African American, a Captain in the Navy Reserves with a BS in ME too. Both HATE Donald and want him out of office.

Just one man’s opinion, but I really think he needs to work on his presidential image & show more of his compassionate side. Like helping the child with cancer or the parole that had his sentence commuted. Or policies that help minority businesses... Something that touches folks. There is time to do this but it is growing shorter every day, Again just my opinion.
