I also hate social security, medicare, medicaid, roads, electricity, clean water, clean air, free education, subsidized daycare, early childhood education, subsidized mental health services, prisons, detention centers, military, weather forecasting, disaster relief, medical research, technological innovation, higher education, public defenders, police officers, firefighters, public housing, housing subsidies, food subsidies.........
Most of the above is not the job of the government, and the government should not be spending other people's money on any of it. Most of it makes things worse, not better.

A few others (military, prisons etc) are not socialism, they are pure public goods which the free market dictates is a necessity of government. Free market does not mean zero govt. It means the govt stays out of the market when the market can provide the good or service. Pure public goods are not socialism.

Already told my wife to let me know who the first dimwit in our life to bring it up is. I had multiple maga people I know mentally spend the doge checks. Some might have actually spent the money too and didn't say anything. Also know someone who thought interest rates were coming down day 1. Haha
You sound poor and play the victim card.

Haha. Many of those are not forms of socialism. They're bacis government responsibilities & duties. Like police, military & roads.

Two things can be true at the same time;
1) be okay with programs such as "housing & food subsidies and Medicare" but 2) also believe those programs have gotten out of control and need to be reeled back in.

You should hate social security. You could have ended up with wayyyy more money investing those contributions yourself than what you'll be getting (if anything) once you retire.

Agree with everything but the last paragraph. Not about my returns. About not having millions of destitute elderly homeless people. There are only so many Walmarts and so many Walmart greeter jobs for a 75 year old who can't walk.

People have been saying social security payments will go away for decades. Sure....

Thats another bonus. We're deporting all their voters and clearing the dead ones off the voter rolls.
Not where it matters. Imagine fighting against protecting a secure election, then having the nerve to say **** like “democracy is in danger”. The people that believe (and repeat) those excuses are certifiably retarded.

Still no game.

Do you not possess any self worth?

You're in over your head here.

Let’s recap: You are a grandfather who acts 13 years old, is obsessed by his rival so much he lives on their board, has severe mental illness, is from Iowa, suffers from intense TDS, is a grandpa who actually beats his chest on a message board that he “has game.”

And to think, your granddaughter just thought you were jerking off in your room with your laptop behind a closed door. If she knew you were obsessing over Nebraska… She would disown you for the loser you are.

Do you agree we would all be better off moving past maga and getting a more traditional republican in power?
Comparing MAGA and socialism is a losing proposition for you. I like alot of what MAGA wants to accomplish, but none of what these DSA indivduals want the USA to look like. MAGA is a slogan, socialism/communism unravels 250 years of greatness

He’s a retard. One of those ******* losers who always take the contrarian stance, then whines like a ***** when he’s proven wrong over and over. He’s a low-iq poor who lets his fat wife tell him what to do. Now he will complain about political threads, even though he ONLY participates in those threads. He’s a sick moron who supports pedophile teachers. Just hit the ignore button. He’s subhuman and not worth the time.

My point is even for most maga people, this isn't the best we can do. People think this is the best, but it isn't. What if I told you that somewhere there is a politican that hates trans people, wants a secure border, AND doesn't get in stupid trade wars, stupid wars, and actually wants to reduce the deficit? You still want status quo Maga?

Like I said, MAGA is a slogan. I would support anyone that could accomplish those things besides hating trans people. Regarding hating trans people, I don't hat them I just don't think they should be participating in sports vs women. Trump can certainly be abrassive and I would love a GOP candidiate that could deliver on conservative policy.

Is that Rubio or Vance or someone else? I hope so and will be be kind of glad that Trump goes away in two years.

Uh oh. That kind of thinking will get you ostracized here. Most of the posters here would gladly throw the constitution out the window and elect Trump to a third term. Actually, most of those would be ecstatic to just make Trump supreme leader with automatic hereditary succession.

Good lord MAGA people are the biggest bunch of crybaby wusses our society has to offer. Constantly the victims. Constantly someone else's fault. Worshipping at the altar of an absolute loon. And yet they're able to convince themselves THEY are the cool tough guys, because Democrats are just totally feckless. How did we end up here...

I mean, that wouldn't happen if SS was never around to begin with. Since it's already here, you'd have to phase it out. Sucks for those paying in, but it's the only way to get out of the mess.

People/families will adjust, the elderly won't go homeless let alone millions.

No, for decades they've been saying SS funds will eventually be dried up. Not, "funds are dried up now at this moment".

So let’s just get this on record: When Trump either runs a third time or refuses to allow elections in 2028, you will speak against that?
How about this. 25 Grand neither of those things happen. You in? Come on, retard. Show you have fortitude. Show everyone how right you are. Win a bunch of free money.

First of all, nice attempt to avoid the question. Will you support Trump if he runs in 2028 or cancels the election? It’s a simple question. Second of all, I won’t make a bet with someone who idolizes a grifter that refuses to pay on things he promised. Such as skipping out on construction jobs for the last 50 years to not following through on DOGE checks or tariff checks he promised to citizens. No way you pay if you lose.

I was told by many people, decades ago when I was younger, not to count on SS because it won't be there when I retire.

Those elderly will end up on government assistance either way. May as well have them pay into ss while they work.

Why do you think it has been untouchable for generations?

I was thinking of investing in geothermal.
Any recommendations?
Did you do any thinking beyond what the Donald said? There is no way this is going to happen, and I'm not sure that the government can ethically allocate dollars based on an election result. That boils down to government paying people to vote for a party. Sure, the Democrats have been doing this since the 60s with all of the social programs that create dependency, but we Republicans have always claimed to be smarter than this.

Be smarter than this.

Come on, *****. Let’s get it on the books. I can bring along a lawyer and get everything drawn up. You think that’s gonna happen, back it. You are so retarded that you think me putting up 25 grand to embarrass your dumb *** when it doesn’t happen…. That I somehow think it will? Come on, coward. Have some fortitude. Trump campaign still owes multiple cities money for campaign stop security. While sitting on what, $400 million. Lol You can't make this up.

You can’t even answer a question without trying to move the goalposts. Let’s try again:
Will you support Trump if he runs again or cancels/postpones the election? You are the one full of hot air. You won’t answer the question. Why would I entertain betting with someone that I know will move the goalposts if you lose? And making personal comments about my dad? My dad is in the Nebraska rock n’ roll hall of fame. You are nothing but numbers and hate.

I literally put 25 grand up… do you think I would support him? How retarded are you? It’s amazing you can even type. Since you are such a generationaly taught coward, I knew you wouldn’t possess the fortitude to back your words. How much would a poor like you put up? A nickel? Or is 5 cents too much for you also? Loser. You don’t even believe the crap you say, and when challenged to back it, you slink away like the coward always does. Let me know what your wife says you can spend to defend yourself. Maybe she will let you have like 10 bucks or something?
How about this, coward? How about if that happens I never post here again, and if it doesn’t, you never do? That won’t cost your broke *** anything, and you can do your favorite thing of cowering away when it doesn’t!
