I believe that they all took a Circle the Wagons approach with Sandusky and Paterno. What else could they do publicly after the story came out ?

Greg Schiano didn’t exactly distinguish himself publicly after the stories came out. I’m sure that legal counsel told them all what to say and they stuck with that approach.

Actually, I recall seeing Gerry DNardo predict 200 yards during one of the shows earlier in the week. Not quite 300, but that would have been a bunch.

Millen and others at Ped state could have done things other than circle the wagons. Decent people connected with psu, are ashamed and either admit Joepa screwed up big time, or simply avoid talking about the terrible time in crappy valley. Millen and others like him could have avoided cameras or said "no comment" but he defended joepa.
Incidentally, he is terrible announcer and was horrendous GM. I know B1G network can do better
