“The Shot” will forever be etched in my soul. I can remember it in great detail even without the incessant number of times we see it broadcast. That moment in time still sickens me but my ire has changed somewhat over the years.

When I see that shot replayed now, and staring at Laettner’s gaping pie-hole, I think about how proud I am of the “Unforgettables”. This group had a nucleus of Kentucky boys who stayed with a program they loved when others bailed out. And, this group captured the respect of people across the college bball world.

I still hate we lost that game, but being part of something which to this day remains of interest is a good thing….especially if you know the backside of the story.

I Still Hate Leattner:grimace:

It's alright everyone. The rest of the internet has the crying Jordan meme. ESPN is a relic. Whatever it touts will fade into sweet oblivion

Fortunately we don't have much longer to worry about ESPN. It is on life support. I only watch when a UK game is on and once I had it on constantly. No more.

And this morning the Outside the Lines was an inspirational story about a former UNCheat mascot who died and donated his organs. Et tu Bob Ley?
