What streak ending bothered you most?

We almost didn't score at Oklahoma in 1985. It took a Chris Spachman fumble recovery and return for a TD. 76 yards. See at the 2 hour 4 minute mark.
Our last game not scoring was actually at Arizona State in 1996. Not sure about home, but 333 games since that happened? Damn.
The sellout streak, it's still active and is my choice. That Gawd darn Frost and Osborne getting shutout in 96
Winning seasons... That alone would take care of bowl and sell out streak records...
I didn’t pick any. I honestly try not to get into any of those things. So many things play into streaks and why they can or could end. Like the draft streak. I tried not to look into that to much...mostly because we had very young team and most of our best players where freshman, sophomores and juniors. Morgan Jr and Ozigbo both could have just as easily been drafted as well as not. So I try and keep those things in mind because, believe it or not, they do play into each the streak factors.
I vote the consecutive 9 win seasons in 2002. Not a choice, but my vote.
That really hit me hard, and made me realise what we had lost in Osborne not coaching any more. Solich was my Driver's ed teacher, and led LSE to back to back State titles my last two years there. I was hoping he could duplicate it at NU, but I was mistaken.

Which fell in 2004 with Callahan... He never did seem concerned not making a bowl game after losing at home to Colorado in the seasons finally..
I believe 1968 vs KSU was the last home shutout. Also remember that although 1996 vs Arizona State was our last shutout, we kicked a FG on the last play of the game to avoid being shut out vs. OU in 2004(which also I believe kept them from covering the spread).

The drafted streak really shocked me. I guess that we had even less to work with this past season than I thought. Makes me think we may have even overachieved!
I don’t know why anyone is shocked by the draft streak ending after watching the last 2 seasons.
Frankly I’m tired of hearing about the sellout streak. When it became known that it took sucker boosters to buy up unsold tickets to keep that streak going it became a joke.
The other two streaks bother me more because those signaled a decline in the program. Notice the draft streak and the possibility of the end of the sellout streak came after.

That would have been mine to. That one doesn't end and all the others are still intact.
The Sellout Streak. It's literally the only thing we the fans can control. That goes, that's on us.
Bowl streak. Man I hate bowl season when NU isn’t playing. It adds a month to winter.

Right I think many "haters" are thinking they are the same thing. I am not sure but I would bet attendance streak would never get very long. The odds of every person who has a ticket being at every game is slim to none.
My streak in 2 on 1 soccer against two kids down the block, I went 4 years without a loss. Then the morons finally got a win. 
That and the home winning streak for Nebraska that ended in 1998 against you know who. Had Nebraska won that game, they would not have seen another loss until 2002, which would have given them the all time consecutive home win streak.

I guess I always linked the two together. After reading how you put that makes sense. Lesson learned.
How so.. 7-7 wasn’t a losing season and at some point the streak of winning 9 or more games likely had to come too a end..
I’m done worrying about what streaks ended. I more excited to see what streaks are about to begin!
If there were better flu shots and replay available 93-97 could have ended with 5 trophies
Meh, I dislike this statement every time it is made. So much motivation was spawned from that loss to FSU over the next season. I think we don't necessarily win in 1994 if we win in 1993.

Even Bud Wilkinson had a couple of losing seasons..
Consecutive winning seasons at some point was going to come too a end at some point.
Not even close to the first non winning season in 40 years. That started out decline of greatness that we’ve never come out of.Two back to back 4-8 seasons (and no bowls) really hurt the most.
