Mills will be 24 in a week, so obviously will leave for NFL chance. That last game should help him get a free agent look.

why would Mills come back? he's played 4 yrs of ball and if he has ANY intentions of exploring the NFL they will punish him for having the number of carries he has already

Mentioned who I thought we could use most importantly not who I thought would come back..
Farniok can move on as far as I’m concerned too..

Would love to see JoJo, Stille, Mills, Culp and one of the safeties back. Falck too.

Pretty good opportunity for all that want to come back. It’s beneficial for Nebraska to have as many ‘good’ seniors as possible. Other squads with great ones will go pro.

Have no idea who will return but I’d like to see Jo Jo, Stille, Honas, Culp.
Then if these guys wanted to return I would be ok with it. Williams and Stoll. Everyone else I would encourage to move on and that would include a few non seniors as well.
Edit; I’d certainly take Mills back as well but I don’t think there is much of a chance he would.

I’m nervous about our secondary and LB rooms if we lose all the seniors. If everyone were healthy, we could get by but we got at least 3 DBs injured right now, and it seems each year we lose 1 or more to injury. LB has similar issue. Could get thin real fast. Also the number of unproven players in those units is a bit high risk.

Gut feeling is nearly all will leave but Culp.
Do you really think Culp will stay? Man there's more than a couple of NFL teams who need kickers. I guess if he wants to finish a masters maybe there's incentive to stick around.

IF Farmer. Wright, Reimers etc all come back 100%, I think we'll be okay at in the back end. It would be very nice to have Honas back for one more year. It might benefit him as well.

Braxton Clark is the other injury who missed the year. Because they said Farmer’s injury looked bad, my hopes are not super high he’ll be ready, but we need him bad.

Would like to see Honas back so we can use Henrich at OLB if needed (and I'm thinking it will be needed).

Only because he didn’t participate in the senior day festivities like all the others did.

I don't think Culp's an NFL kicker. NFL teams aren't going to waste a roster spot on a kicker who can't reach the end zone.

unless your evaluation comes back that you will get drafted why not come back and play a whole season and try to make a name for yourself and if your a back up then hit the portal and try to find a starting job some where

I’ll say, nationwide, about 8-12% of the seniors who could come back, will come back. And about 1/3 to 1/2 of those will exercise the grad transfer rule and go elsewhere.

Jojo sticking around would be great, but that ain't happening. NU could use Mills most certainly, as he is the closest to a prototypical B1G back exists on the roster.

Yeah, the transfer dynamic should be a circus to watch!

Mills should not return. he already has 4 years of carries on his body. there is a reason the NFL hates senior RBs. Mills already stayed longer than he should have.

I thought Heinrich looked 100x better playing inside. Not big enough for outside.

Well he definitely looked better in the last game compared to the first game. Ohio St/Rutgers also had something to do with it. He's what, 6'4"? Putting on 10 pounds this offseason should be the floor for him. A solid 15-20 would have him bigger than some of the other guys we're currently trotting out there at OLB.
