1) run the offense through Murray using a lot of screens
2) Skal isn't KAT. Let him face up. Run Pick and pop. Similar to Knights team with Josh. This Also allows Ulis to get to his free throw line pullup, or draw the D and throw the lob.
3) drop the 1on1 forced drives because we don't have the guards with the size to finish at the rim like we are use to having. (Goes back to point 1 and 2). Encourage a shoot first mentality vs the drive, drive, drive and then maybe shoot mentality.
4)press and run and use more bodies tj stay fresh. Mathews should be seeing more time and Hawkins, Mulder and Willis would be able to give solid minutes in this scenario.
5)Humphries=rebounding.
It isn't that Murray, Ulis, Willis, Mulder, and Poy can't knock down 3s. It's the type of threes they've been takin nm an out of sync offense that's forcing drives and then forcing up aare shot clock 3. Instead of running an offense to get shooters open and set looks.
This isn't Cals prototypical team and he is going to have to play with a different style and emphasis than he likes to play with to max out this teams potential and talent
