I would say invite our "colleagues" from THR...But they would probably just cheat on their scorecards

If you love seafood, there is a little hole in the wall building called the seafood shack I believe. They have the best seafood on the island. Not much to look at but a local favorite. Usually have to wait in line to get some food but well worth the wait.I'm going Labor Day weekend haven't ever been wife loves it though! Any recommendations
And Dude you have much more patience than I do and seriously, the height of a grain of rice? That is amazing talent.Hah! Those samurai? Roughly the height of a grain of rice, maybe a touch biggerthat whole thing fits easily in the palm of your hand.
That's pretty damn awesome!!! My boys would love something like that.Painting little tiny toy soldiers. Yeah, it's pretty nerdy, but it is artistic and War-connected and I have enjoyed things like that since I was a little kid. Now that I am older, I can do more of it. They are all used in games, which I enjoy designing too. What can I say, I'm a kid at heart

Favorite pastime or hobby? This may have been done before, I'm not sure.
for me its Golf, used to shoot a lot of competition archery, but not much anymore, and camping/boating. I also like to reload my own ammunition for accuracy.[/QUOTE I have always loaded my own hunting ammo. .22 rim is about the only thing that I shoot that is not hand loaded. I guess hunting here in the mountains of NC is my favorite thing. I don't shoot many deer anymore , but , I do like sitting in a deer stand with a camera.

If you like to cook, do you have one of those blackstone griddles? I have one and love it. Its a 3 foot long black cast iron griddle powered by propane. Its so big that is awesome for cooking a lot of food for big gatherings. If you haven't seen one, google it. I've had 24 burgers on mine at once, and for breakfast, I've had bacon, sausage, hash browns, eggs, and pancake all going at once. I have only used my grill once since I got it.I like cooking something I've never made before. In the summer I like cutting my grass (walk behind) while listening to the Moth Podcast and stopping in the garage every 10 minutes to sip Beam on the rocks. I like going on walks or camping with my wife and 3 kids. Most of all, I like watching Duke basketball with my dad and oldest son. Life can be so simple.

Kind of similar to OADD -- as a kid I collected comics. A couple of years ago, I came across a "boat-load" of comics someone bought at a storage locker auction. I picked up about 6500 comics for $75. Wanted to try my hand at selling stuff on eBay and teaching my kids about customer service and e-commerce.Well, it's more like my 'used to be' hobby now, but I loved playing video games back in the "old days", and that lead to my main passion of collecting video games, and video game systems. Had thousands of video games (most complete in boxes), and I guess about 100 plus game systems in boxes. Owned many Atari 2600 & 5200 prototypes, even had some signed by the Atari game programmer Bob Polaro. Had Nintendo Starfox Competition Cart & Blockbuster Donkey Kong Championship Cart, and a ton of other rare Snes & Nes games. The only 2 things that I never got that I really, really wanted were a Nintendo World Championship Gold Cartridge, and a RDI Halcyon System...both extremely rare (and expensive), especially the almost non-existent RDI Halcyon System. I actually had made arrangements to buy the RDI system but the guy turned around and sold it to another buyer at the last minute...even though we had an agreement, and my offer was higher...other guy was a local. And almost the same thing happened with the NWC Gold Cartridge, a guy out in California had it, and I was in the process of sending payment...when a local bought it. So close, yet...
Anyway, after my wife's health problems, it just didn't seem to be so much fun anymore, and I sold off most of my collection (and all the seriously rare stuff) to other collectors. I still have a small collection of probably a 1000+ games, and about 40 or 50 video game systems (that includes the moderns systems such as PS3, PS4, Xbox, Xbone, etc., and I intend to keep those and leave them to my 2 daughters who both love video games. Every once in a blue moon I even hookup an old system (I especially love Colecovision, Snes, Nes, Sega Genesis, & Turbo Grafx 16, Duo) to an old CRT television (the only way to play...I'm old school).
So much fun to do a little reminiscing.
