Ok, we're all Kentucky fans, but what other teams do you cheer for? I was born a Kentucky fan, but growing up in Indiana, I'm also a Notre Dame football fan (secondarily to Kentucky). I think usually folks are born into regional or family influences. Who else do you cheer for, and why? Pro or NCAA.

-Kentucky (NCAA, everything)
-Cubs (we don't have a MLB team is Indy)
-Lions (Barry Sanders was always on TV during the pre-Peyton Manning blackout years)
-Blackhawks (no Indy team, and they're an original six)

Cowboys and Braves. Growing up through the 90s before you had a ton of games on every Sunday, those were the teams we got on tv in SE KY. The titans weren’t around yet, out of the Cincy/Indy/StLouis markets.

Collegiate: idk why but I’ve always enjoyed Georgia football. not passionately, but if I had to pick a team I have no qualms w then it’s UGA. Basketball: everybody else can bow and kiss the ring.

Living in the Cincinnati area there’s a cross-town rivalry in college basketball between UC and Xavier. Always hated Bob Thuggins and his revolving door of felons. So I gravitated towards Xavier and their great string of coaches Pete Gillen, Skip Prosser, Thad Matta, Sean Miller. My youngest is a Wright State grad, so I’ve also become a fan of their program.

Only other major sport I follow religiously is rugby union. My favorite English Premiership team is the Northampton Saints. As far as national teams I do like the New Zealand All Blacks, and of course the USA Eagles. And definitely love the USA Rugby 7s team. The most exciting 7s team in the world. They were # 1 in the world for most of this year. Currently 2nd behind Fiji, reigning Olympic Gold Medalists.

Sorry but I didn’t know an “other” existed when you were a UK fan. :)

You know it

Maybe, secondary or tertiary?

Ive lived in Arizona for the last 23 years... so I’ve taken in the Cardinals and Suns.
I’ve also adopted some of my friends teams Utes and Michigan...and they’ve become UK fans also.

College- Kentucky and whoever can knock UNC, Duke or Louisville out of the tourney if it can’t be UK

MLB- Reds

NFL- Packers/Vikings (my dad has always been a huge Vikings fan and I didn’t have a team, but was a fan of Brett Favre so I followed Green Bay. 2009 was special for us)

NBA- the team with the most Kentucky players on it that year.

Whoever is playing ul, iu, ku, dUKe and unc

I would add a rotating list of the SEC team claiming to be better than UK and their never gonna lose to us again. Ie) EwwTee for the past 2 years. Actually enjoyed the hell outta Auburn knocking them outta the tourney earlier. I suspect it will be Florida for the next 2 years.

The women's curling teams from Sweden, and Korea.

Growing up when I was younger in Virginia Tennessee football was always on TV every weekend and my Popaw always watched them so that's where that came from but I only pull for them in football, and my love for Kentucky came when I was in 4th grade my teacher had us fill out a March madness bracket and I picked Kentucky to win it all and they did that was in 96 and I got a Kentucky basketball for winning and I've followed and watched them religiously ever since.

UK basketball and football. Not into any pro sports team. Love golf, though it’s not a team sport usually. Pull for Kentucky guys J.T. and Holmes.

Been a huge Boston Celtics fan since I was a kid. Then married a Boston guy and started following the Red Sox, Patriots, and Bruins. Still love the Reds too.

I have also been a big Villanova fan since moving to PA in 2004. Jay Wright's family lives near me and I have mutual friends with Ryan Arcidiacono's parents who also live in this area.

My kids graduated from Belmont and Temple, so I root for their teams too.

Kentucky above all else. Nothing affects me like the cats, but I was raised as a Cowboys fan also. I can still remember wearing my Cowboys jacket to grade school when they were 1-15. Of course, it worked out and was very enjoyable in college with Superbowl parties all those years and watching them reclaim their place amount the mountain top again. These days it's frustrating, but maybe Jones can back off some or finally get it right again.

St. Louis Cardinals. Before I stopped watching the NFL, San Diego Chargers. Memphis Grizzlies, and anybody playing Lebron (and soon to be Grant Williams).
