Why is he playing ahead of Idowu I’m afraid of losing this lead after halftime adjustments by Frank haith

It’s like how Haith started Ugboh last year and had Igbanu off the bench. Haith likes to have his best big get minutes after the opposing big gets tired after the first few minutes. It’s a strategy

Haith is trying to keep the recruiting pipeline open where he found Ugboh and "starting" him makes a statement.

We're also a defensive oriented team, which is Ugboh's strength. He also is one of our few players with size, preventing teams from starting with easy post offense early.

Idowu is playing the same minutes or even more, with Richie improving and his shooting Ugboh should be able to get some isolated post ups for a couple baskets a game. Throw in a basket or two from rebounds and five or so rebounds a game and he gives us just enough post to stay legit. This last game he struggled but there was also a lot of small ball being played so he wasn't as important.
