Any of you ever had a conversation about a random thing or product and then all of a sudden start getting ads for it? It’s some creepy ****.

I’m sure some of it is just you notice it more after having talked about it, but I’ve definitely had ads pop up for very specific things I’m 100% certain I never searched for, after have a conversation with the wife or a friend about it.

I've had that. Used to at work when I was in an small office with one chatty coworker. Things I would not search from work or on their computer (nah...nothing bad, but hiking boots or other obvious non work related). The ad folks say it isn't active listening but goes off a complete demographic to predict.

I don't see any adds like that, except for the imbedded ones from the fan shop and mudbugs...but I don't use google, and use the brave browser.
