I did not realize his leaving played such a major factor.. I wonder if a sophomore Jackson would be better than a Freshman OAD Duval bc of his shooting.
We would be in the position that we were in last year since he is hurt and not playing
Not good. He would be another guy looking for his shot. We don't need that. The only way he would work with this team would be no Gary Trent. He is an explosive guy though.
What if in April we get to say "Introducing your 2018 National Champions"!!!
Exactly. If ifs and buts were candy and nuts we would all have a merry Christmas too.
For some reason Frank Jackson is one of those guys who I just don't think much about. Not a bad player but didn't make a big impression on me, maybe because I thought he'd play point guard and I didn't think he handled the ball well enough for that.
Frank was a pretty explosive player. IMO, he would have been an All-American this season. Of course, I thought that last April, and before we had Bagley. Frank was a special, special talent.
With the 1 and done talent K is recruiting it's hard to play the 'what if' game because the recruiting is planned around the constant leaving of prior 1 and done talent. But if Frank were here, I would be glad to have him.

Yeah, within reason. Discussing "what ifs" in the middle of the season w/ a clear connection to a player who is perceived to be struggling is poor form.
He wasn’t/isn’t a true point guard.. we needed a true point guard this year.. we have one in Duval.
It is fun to play this game sometimes. I couldn't imagine if we had a senior Stones Jones right now.
here's a bad one.....what if Duke's A.D. did not have the Stones to stick with K after his first 3 seasons!
Me neither although the way Trent plays in big time situations I’m wondering what the hell is in the water up their in Apple Valley.
