What hires would you be underwhelmed by?

[forestdepth]

For me, Hud or Bill Clark would be somewhat disappointing.

Napier****

[Trojanbulldog19]

Chizik, retreads they are losers and don’t have a fire, nfl guys with no college experience in last few years. I would prefer a g5 coach that is a winner that also has sec ties

[was21]

with no NCAA baggage

Agree on Bill Clark. A little surprised Sark isn't getting more pub, I think he'd be a great hire for us.

Agree 100% on Sark.

[AFDawg]

After Cannizzaro, I can't see Cohen going after a guy with major off the field embarrassments like Sarkisian.

Hud, Chizik, Grantham. I don’t like Defensive Coordinators as head coaches. This is also unpopular but I don’t want Mike Leach either.

[RPOdawg]

Todd Grantham. Is this a sick joke someone is playing on us? Why is his name even being mentioned? He’s never even been a high school coach but we want him
to run an sec program? Didnt Cohen learn?

Surely he’s just interviewing him because Granthams agent requested it. I’m not seeing this one work out.

Are any of Bowden's kids still coaching and/or weighing in under 400lbs?

Judge, Clark and Chizik would be the absolute worst. Surely Cohen wouldn't give us a coach the fans won't immediately get behind.

Just because who I feel good about doesn't mean it'll be a good hire though. I was excited about Joe. I was excited about Dan. Was hum about Croom. Too young to remember when Jackie was hired.

[aTotal360]

Anyone other than Rich Kotite.

[philduckworth]

Grantham or a wishbone coach.

[Nunya.sixpack]

Some junior high coach.

Anyone less than Sean peyton, bill bellichek, or mike ditka

[Duggar Hall Desk]

Me. Don't hire me. I'm underwhelmed by my experience at this level.

In order of the names kicked around the most...

Chizik—Oh God, no. I'd drive to Starkville just to boo his *** on the tarmac like his arrival at Auburn
Clark—Was in on him two years ago, but it's telling no one has even had the slightest interest in him.
Hud/Grantham—This is where I start getting bummed. Of the two, prefer Hud.
Judge—Reading more about him, he's growing on me. Would have to see who he'd get as assistants, which is concerning.
Napier—Far and away my No. 1. "Afraid" he's holding out for South Carolina after they dump Muschamp.

[Imadick]

HUD or Napier are non starters for me.

Just curious, but why? Who would you like to see us hire if those are your non-starters?
