Have the mods run off everyone but a handful? I used to be able to come to 'gamecockcentral' forums and there would pages and pages of posts with good topics and now days there might be 3 or 4 new topics a week with the same 10 - 15 people talking amongst themselves. Did everyone go to another site or something? Serious question.

1. Social media.
2. The content on this site used to be pretty exclusive but now it's garbage.
3. Something about switching from an independent site, to Rivals, to On3 or whatever.

They're all on the insiders forum since they had that one dollar for a year deal...they're still running a year for 10 bucks now...it's normally 100 I believe.

I'd be more inclined to sign up for the pay forums if I saw a robust free forum. Makes me skittish, though, that this place is deadsville most days.

I think most of them are slinging mud at each other over in the thread about backing into parking spaces. A bunch of people with tissue-thin skin arguing with each other about who's a Karen and who's not over one of the least consequential topics ever. That's social media for you.

I figured a decent bit of people just didn't want to be bothered to make an account over here so stayed on the Rivals free forum but maybe that's not the case. As mentioned above, the main reason this one is dead is probably the yearly deals for the Insiders that have been going on. When the rates go back to normal I'd guess this one will get busier.

The pay forum is extremely robust, lots of good conversation. If you can get a year for $10, you should definitely give it a shot. You also get good insider content from the Gamecock Central staff.
