Conner Culp shanks a FG attempt; it rebounds off a lineman's butt, picked up by the defense and run for a touchdown. How Culp got all BIG place kicker is beyond me. I never saw so many knuckleballs or extra points that snuck inside one post or another as we saw last year. He doesn't have a strong leg. No wonder he was beat out twice before he transferred to dear old UNL.

Middle of the third quarter and Huskers are up two TD's. Martinez rolls out of the pocket and overthrows his receiver by ten yards. He does hit a wide open Fordham receiver who is minding his own business on the sideline getting a Runza from a nearby vendor. Martinez is flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct for targeting a defenseless receiver.

I think our HC is going to go bat shi* crazy and pee his pants
Been there done that.

I bet it'll be more like some crazy jealous female coming out of the stands hitting Frosty with her shoe, prompting a question or two on the post game presser.

But if we want something TRULY bizarre that nobody's seen here in about a decade:

A clean game where the team looks prepared, plays well in 3 phases of the game, takes care of the football, shows an ounce of pride, and doesn't play down to the competition.

I’m going with to old play that is down pat old reliable Martinez fumble in our own territory fordham easily scores. Why try something fancy? Best to go with a proven play
I am going with old reliable also. AM will unnecessarily try too hard for extra yardage and put the ball on the turf and Fordham recovers (of course).

hear Is one for the special teams, Nebraska is behind they just kick there third field goal to come within 4 points so they do a onside kick but it’s botched and fordham player runs it back for the game winner. But my question is if Fordham would happen to win do they get to tear down our goalposts? Asking for a friend

Nebraska will win tomorrow versus Fordham, but what fresh hell will the Huskers inflict on themselves and us during the game?

I'm going to go with a blocked kick return for a Ram TD, though that's a pretty standard, though rare, football play. But is there some kind of bizarre **** that makes us wonder what the team does all week at practice, and if so, what might it be?

Or will it be some seemingly innocuous off-the-field thing that will draw national pundits' attention away from important games so they can ridicule the Huskers?

And ... GO!
Adrian gets knocked out with an injured throwing shoulder on a scramble. Haarberg comes in and throws 3 INTs including a pick six. Huskers win on a late field goal that hits the upright and bounces through.
