Have we really sunk that low? If this is going to be our mindset, then Nebraska as we know it is finish. That kind of mindset is never acceptable here.

I don't think anyone is suggesting that Nebraska's all-time mantra be that "moral victories be the best", but its quite obvious we aren't going to be contenders this year for anything but maybe a West division title. And that's going to be a patchwork effort with the injuries and coaching transition and the whole bit.

something to build on for the future. no doubt 1-2 isn't pleasant, but we probably have a few more of these to get thru. we were lucky to get back in it, but they showed resilience and that creates hope.
