What do you keep your heat on?

78. I also have a plug in radiator and two dogs in the bed, one under the covers. I am still cold in unreasonable *** cold Florida
Mother and MIL were both like that, had to brace our selves for any visit. Blast furnace in the winter, greenhouse in the summer.
71 living area, 69 bedroom and never changed during the year. Just flip from heat to cool and back.
This is me. I try to keep mine at 68 and it's nothing but bltching. I'm wearing shorts and a sweatshirt, and the wife is in full sweats with blankets and floor heaters.
Normally 62-64 at night. 65 to 68 daytime depending on ..... well the wife really. House built in 70's with numerous faucets on exterior walls so keeping in on 68 at night right now with faucets dripping and cabinets open. These temps with a minus sign in front are hard on old houses.
7-0 but the gas logs, strategically located between the two areas with thermostats, make the setting irrelevant except when we go to bed.

I’m a firm believer that different settings feel different in different houses depending on setup. Now mine is on 68 night 65 during the day. My old house needed at least 72 to feel like this one does at 68. Summer about 71-72. Old house needed 74 to not run me outside from the cold.
Yeah. Different houses have different characteristics that can have a big effect of what a temperature feels like. And different thermostats can read “hot” or “cold” and or cycle too quickly or too slowly.
I will say this - my house when it's in the 50's feels like a damn freezer. Below that - it does pretty well.
If you have gas heat, or heat pumps with gas auxiliary, dropping the temp back at night is OK. If you have heat pumps with electric auxiliary, it's better to set and forget because a heat pump will require the backup strips when it heats back up for the daytime and you've lost much or all of your savings.

63 at night unless she's crying then maybe 65. At breakfast time it bumps to 65 then stays 64 until dinner time, it will hit 66 and drop back to 63 at 10 pm.
If it's cold out and I am running heat the thermostat is set at 60 and I will bump it up in the morning while we are getting ready. If it's hot the a/c will be on 75 during the day and 66 at night.
Mom keeps it 78 upstairs. I don’t have central air in the basement, just some space heaters.
Same - luckily, they’re souring on it. But it’s only a matter of time before some other nonsense takes its place.

65 to 70 in the den with fireplace and/or propane heater. My bedroom is about like the cooler at a florist. No heat at all in there but I still turn the AC window unit on high, have the ceiling fan spinning like a helicopter and have a Lasko wind machine blowing on me. I'm as miserable as anybody else when it's cold but that is absolutely perfect sleeping conditions for me.
63 downstairs 70 up. All winter. Gas fireplace when it's below freezing outside. Bedroom gets the heat first from the central heat
