That MC, even after being demolished on Dante, is still, according to Mike O'Brien, "heavily favored" to win out in 7A. He says that neither DGN or Batavia pose much of a threat. Nor does he show any love to SCN, who beat Geneva but can't crack the Top 25. That leaves Rice and Rita, which is as it should be. This is the natural order of things. Lastly, if Eliott has been playing conservatively in games he could afford to lose, then he has a lot left in reserve. Can I get an "Amen" here, Jenny?
Friday was brutal but AMEN!

MC let up more points this year than 3 seasons previously… combined

Is it the D play calling or the depth???

I don’t want to write what I think

The round 2 match up against Marist may show differently with RB John McAuliffe who is by far the highest scorer in the CCL/ESCC with 90 points between week 3-9.
I'd like to see Marist and Loyola. I'd like to see Marist make it to the finals or the semis. Coach Mike Fitzgerald has already had a good inaugural year.

For LA nice to have the POY back (and more importantly healthy). People forget how one player (especially at the QB position) can change the whole outlook. Rambler's have a tough road with Bellevue East, Marist, Main South & LWE. Marist awaits with Mike Fitzgerald (who saw a bunch of LA with York) and gave them good games. Marist completely under rated and will be a very tough away game for LA. Looks like the usual "guantlet" of games for Hollywood for a 3- Peat. They will have to earn it this year for sure. I think after the MC game they look to be ready for the challenge.

Don't worry about East - they suck and you will breeze round 1.

Do you mind if I check your math? In the last three years, MC gave up 190 + 115 + 142 = 447 points
So far this year, they've given up 151.

The problem isn't depth but youth. That, and one key injury.

You don't need to write what you think. You've been flashing your negativity since August. But you haven't said what institution you graduated from. Or did you flunk out?
