Well this was another one of “those weeks.” The playoffs will be cra cra

1 - That we still need to be aware of Loyola
2 - That Lyons Twp is really that good
3 - That the FVC is just wildly entertaining
4 - That LZ and Warren are in an elimination game
5 - That Maine East just might make the playoffs.
6 - That Neuqua Valley has gone missing
7 - That Fenwick and DePaul Prep are making good teams look not good.
8 - That regardless of the opponent, it’s nice to see Joliet Central get the dub
9 - That the field entrance at Wilmington is about the best I’ve seen.
10 - That just when we thought we knew and had learned all we needed to know about the MSL, we didn’t know nothin

Before moving to Burbank I lived at 64th & Long so as rare as it is a HUGE shout out to Kennedy Crusaders who are going to the state playoffs & without their starting injured QB!!!! Would be undefeated with him but are still 6-1 without him!!! And sadly that there is a team out there with lots of talent that should be 6-1 right now & finish 8-1 & host a first round game but are 3-4 & probably won’t make the playoffs. There are issues with the parents & coaches so stay tuned. A few upset parents & former youth coaches got escorted out of their game this past week

We had some great teams at Clear Ridge Little League. I never am for a Public/Private split but some great athletes played football from where you & I are from but for Rice,Rita,Marist,Laurence,Luther South,De La Salle & possibly Nazareth. If those kids stayed at Kennedy man they could have been something

How is this QB doing? I know he's a Soph and will have some growing pains but he's everywhere on social media and getting all these offers, I don't know if they are commitable offers but still. I had Carmel as a favorite to win 5A this year with him leading it. Is it a Defensive issue?

The demise at Lincoln-Way East is continuing with their offense struggling and relying on defensive scores vs. Lockport with a safety and fumble recovery required to get to 47 points. The drop is real with 49,49,49, 48,48 and now 47 points. Victor Andrew up next will be a real challenge for the Griffins.

This group has NO IDEA how good LVille and their offense is.

Defense has played well all year.
