I actually Coached Dustin the first year of Aurora Superstars football (along with former ACHS QB Nate Peterson). One of the first practices a kid shows up with a WA helmet and Ira comes walking up and asks where he got it. Kid says it’s my brothers, Ira takes the helmet and says “tell your brother he can get it from me tomorrow”.
yes the won but they played in the championship the very last game of the season my point was nobody wants to go play estl at the beginning of the year

No true ESL fans base us usually quite until someone brings up something that’s not really pertaining to ESL. But you have to admit without the ESL, LA, MC, MS, GC, PR, JC, PC ,SR, WWS, LZ, Naz, GW, 6 Flags, Bat Just to name a few number t really much else to have a lot hn thread about. Good luck to all just don’t bitter like dadcoachsports. Maybe his kid should have attended one of the schools above then he would understand
#?. That BR should be encouraged after nearly defeating St. Rita. Yes, it's a "down" year, but this game was tight and maybe BR can get into the playoffs with their 5th win against either Marist or JCA. I don't know much about JCA this year.

I can totally hear him saying that. Yeah, back then Ira was in the news as the strongest HS football coach in the US. I think he was benching about 500. He always showed off his 4 diamonds, on the back of his calves. No one messed with Coach J. I actually started a petition to get him as our HC after he would be named as my 3rd varsity coach in 3 yrs. There's some good coaches on the current staff that played back then or actually coached back then.
Well....there are several of them. But I still see a Flyer interjected into many of those too.
more than several, and yeah when it’s a national ranked team they usually get talked about..(this isn’t directed towards you) but i have seen many people say chicago private prep schools don’t run from anyone but yet the best examples of that are ESTL having by far the toughest schedule by any team in the state ever, back 2 back years btw..! what’s wrong chicago wya 3rd largest city it’s laughable why aren’t they able to get at least one program who can compete with other national prep schools …
