It's time to take the training wheels off McCabe and allow him to be the PG. Slide Bolden to SG. And either have Harler come off the bench or start 3 guards and have West come off the bench. Let's be honest, not much difference defensively between Harler and West. Lamont may be 6'7", but he defends like he's 5'7".
He tried to steal the ball on one possession, missed, and got beat. On the next possession he stayed in front of his man but didn't go for the steal. His man passed it to Harler's man who then beat him off the dribble for an easy layup. Huggs benched McCabe for letting his man get an assist.
McCabe will transfer after this year. I'm sure he didn't expect a P5 coach to play favorites like a JV coach.

And unfortunately probably partly true. We all know that some players get in the doghouse more easily and kept on a tighter rope than others.
For Christ's sake, the amount of times Sags was pulled for the same screw ups as Bender last year was infuriating.
Last year went like this: "Where's Konate?" "He's on the bench because he took a 15 footer." "But Bender has committed two turnovers and has given up three uncontested shots under the basket. How's that helping?" "Doesn't matter. Huggs is in a pissing contest. Don't question the HOFer....EVER."

How would you know what Allen and Sags think? Huggins was searching for some combination that would work. Sags was ineffective. McCabe was not match for WKU's guards. He's thinking a lot. He'll improve with time.
Wes Harris should have been kicked off team for sucker punching a guy in the summer. He brings thug baggage from sleezy southern ghetto Jackson, Mississippi scum hole and can’t perform on the court. Guy should have been gone and a scholarship freed up. He is D2.
We offer some cant shoot raw D2 guard Trey Doomes from Miami, FL but won’t recruit Drew Williamson from state championship Chapmanville High in WV. That’s bad evaluation and bad recruiting. Don’t argue. Williamson is way better than Doomes and is bigger, stronger, taller. Wow!

Now that's a very different complaint than the others you've leveled. Even Huggins has said he's recruited poorly.
