Mantits McReady said on a podcast that the State beat writers were fans of the school, a cult, and were too friendly with each other.

The State beat writers trolled him over the weekend and took pictures of themselves hanging out together.

NotAFan then said he’d rather make money than friends or some other dumb ****.

Somewhere along the lines, State writers wearing masks and/or being fat incels got brought into it.

I’m sure others can elaborate better.

I don't know everything that was said back in forth but I find it very interesting their use of the word cult.

One definition of cult is, a misplaced or excessive admiration for a particular person or thing.

It seems to me that most of the people on the state beat can be critical, at times, of the university, as they should.

However, I seem to remember a time not too long ago when the NCAA was investigating Ole Miss and that group was a propaganda machine including hit pieces on Leo. Not mention the cultish behavior of their fans.
