Iowa scores 24+ and beats Indiana by 7 or more.
Iowa State wins, covers, and looks impressive against Arizona.
Rutgers beats Minnesota.

I'm guessing we'd jump to around 17th?
I would say #25 or so or maybe getting votes. We still have two games against poor competition.

But beating IU would mean a lot plus playing ISU in Ames to a very close game means something if they keep winning

We wont be ranked because we are going to lose because we have several players that are going to sit out until they get paid.
huh?

As for any ranking. Iowa didn't get a single vote last week. It would take a complete blowout and some other teams losing to break into the TOP 25.

You guys say that now, but how is the fan base going to handle when 6 win seasons become the norm, remember you will be making a coaching change in the next 5 years or so, and there is no guarantee the new guy is going to be better, look at Wisconsin and all the struggles Nebraska has had.
Folks from iowa, not bright.

Wisconsin AD is a moron.

Our next Head Coach is probably on our staff right now. Wallace or Woods or Lester.

That was a classic episode. Then again, all the black-n-whites with Don Knotts were.

For those wondering and haven't tried using AI to figure it out...

The image shows a scene from "The Jinx" episode of The Andy Griffith Show, which originally aired in 1962.

  • The episode features Henry Bennett, played by John Qualen, who is believed to bring bad luck to those around him.

  • The plot revolves around the town's attempts to help Henry overcome his perceived jinx, leading to various comical situations, including a boat sinking.

  • This episode also marks Clint Howard's first uncredited appearance on the show as a boy at a church social.

  • Barney Fife, known for his interest in the occult in the series, even performs an incantation to ward off the jinx, using German words for "witch" and "witches".

I liked the one where they tried to domesticate Ernest T Bass.
