While today was not what we wanted I’m incredibly proud of this team. And what a fantastic first to be introduced to ‘Cats fandom.
So much about this team embodies what’s right about college football. A coach that bleeds purple and loves his guys and students that are elite on and off the field. I for one and hooked.
As for today it, frankly, is what it is. Our defense is elite and absolutely played-well enough to win. They were dominate for the first 80% of the game. The offense, as has been the pattern, came out looking solid but then couldn’t totally readjust to OSU adjustments.
So many what-ifs — We get 3 instead of a pick in the end zone...Ramsey sees that chance to run on 3rd and 13 instead of setting up the missed field goal...Brandon Joseph gets that lateral and maybe we extend the lead earlier.
Ultimately the offense isn’t great but the team won the division and is set up to finish 7-2 and ranked in the top 15. Incredible!
