I watched a few of his plays in the spring games and I was pleasantly surprised. The kid looked like he had a solid arm. To my knowledge he got zero reps in the USM game. I'm just curious as to how he will be incorporated (if any) in future games. What are y'all's thought on Nick?

Nick got in on our last drive, in the last 50 seconds or so. He didn't pass since we were just trying to run out the clock but he did run 2 times for 36 yards---he actually leads MSU in yards per carry now at 18 ypc.
He is a good developing passer but he is "sneaky good" at running, has a long stride as a 6'5" guy, and was an triple option wishbone QB in High School.
Between him and Staley we should be set up well at QB for a while.

I don't know how he compares to Dak as far as finding a hole, reading blocks, running over people, etc.- but in the two runs Fitz was in on Saturday, he looks to actually be a little faster than Dak.

People will be surprised by Fitz. He has wheels, and can run with some power. I watched him truck a couple of HS LB's his SR year. In the game I saw, he only threw 6-7 passes - 2 were dropped, 4 were TDs. He ran for 3 more. HS Coaches raved about his leadership and how kids gravitated to him.
The only reason he didn't get noticed is that Richmond Hill ran a triple option and he didn't play QB full time until his SR year.
