Perhaps you missed the record stock markets, full employment, and real wage growth unseen since before 07, wage growth that minorities outpaced white people by a significant margin. I think it worked great with 100s of millions of dollars being refocused to internal corporate initiatives spent significantly on employee benefits.

Imagine working for an employee owned company with several billion a year in receivables and what a massive cut in corporate taxes did to everyones retirement?
