What a holiday weekend for our school!

Quite the time to be THANKFUL for a thrilling title run of the PK80 by the cardiac Devils! This tournament conjured up memories of another great holiday tourney long ago (in these parts) for us OFC'ers, the great Dixie Classic where tremendous hoops programs from all over came to play! I am so excited for our boys, and their relentless, never say die attitude.

Meanwhile thankful and a salute to DUKE FOOTBALL for clinching a bowl bid this weekend (win at Wake), after they appeared dead in the water two weeks ago. The hoops championship run out west and the gridiron win in Winston-Salem made Blue Devil fans of both sports STAND TALL!

When you add all this to our rival's showing vs MSU last nite, AND their football team's loss in Raleigh Saturday to finish 3-9, it was icing on the cake. Well maybe just a nice dish of 'naner puddin!!

Sure has Hart! Been a really fun rollercoaster weekend for Duke fans. A lot of change in emotions the whole weekend that’s for sure.

We have a lot to be thankful for as said above! What a weekend! I have to admit I didn't feel Duke football was going to pull if off.. but what a win!

And Duke basketball.. wow talk about raising your blood pressure lol! Glad to see this team reach down deep and pull out a win even when down several points. We have to remember it's something like 9 games in 20 days... I think. Give this team more days of practice and they will continue to gel. I think the break coming in December will be good for them.
