What a helluva week for the dogs

Cerantola kept the hogs off the scoreboard, but continued his usual high pitch count tendencies. Excellent work by the pen to finish the last 5 IP. A 5-0 week against great competition has the dogs right back on track to be a National seed.

Howland gets his first SECT trophy and the auto bid into the dance after trouncing Auburn this afternoon. The perimeter D played by Stewart, Weatherspoon, Molinar, and Tyson was just excellent, holding Auburn to one of its worst 3 point shooting days of the year. Selection show starts momentarily - what seed will the dogs get? I have a source on the committee who says it’s going to be a 12 seed. We shall see.

I know the players on this team won’t care, but damn I’ll never forget watching that game in Birmingham. That drive back to Starkville was awful.

Dayton and Baylor are the 1 and 2 in our region. Both very beatable teams.

Excited to see where the Lady Dawgs get seeded tomorrow night. Expecting a 3 seed.
