There is no positive spin here. This was the ultimate mishandling of a recruit by the Pope regime. IMO this is the end for him. From bungling this early to losing all other options to announcing another kid 30 minutes before. Just complete thermal curtain failure. I was hopeful. Now, I just want him gone. Like right now.

We are only one year away as soon as Pope is fired and they actually hire a good coach. Problem is I have zero reason to believe UK knows what the hell they’re doing.

What exactly is there to see the glass half full ? Pope is the worst coach / recruiter in UK history but UK basketball isn’t going to ruin my life so I’ll just be glad when that worthless POS goes away. I hate that he stole all the money he’s being paid but let’s expedite the next most important thing. Ride him like a rented mule and run him out of town as soon as the horn blows in our last game next season.
