The top 25 teams in this week's Associated Press writers poll have lost ONE HUNDRED AND SEVEN TIMES this season!

That's an average of 4+ losses for the best teams in the country!

WVU at 18-5 is pretty close to that average, and ranked #14.

If Huggins Heroes can knock off #3 Kansas on Wednesday and #1 Baylor on Saturday the college basketball world will be rocking!!!

This is going to be the zaniest March Madness EVER!!!

And Baylor is the SEVENTH team to be ranked #1, which also is astounding!

If this true then the players have not bought into what Huggins is selling the way that I thought they were. They were effusive in their praise of Huggins a few games ago. We'll see. Sports forum is the last place to believe every thing you read.

From the Bragg article in yesterday's Gazette...

“We won the other day [against Iowa State] and everyone said ‘why are you so down?’” Huggins said. “I saw it coming. Before, when I talked, I had every eye on me. Now I don’t. When Larry [Harrison] talked, all eyes on him. Now they’re not. That’s attitude."

Probably magnified because of the road ***-kickings they've been taking but if Huggs is speaking with candor here, it's not good.

But...check out shooting stats...at the line...from the field...from downtown...and the trends for rhe Mountaineers. Then post a comment. Your fake expert persona is stale.

You are pretty sharp, NO. The guy you are picking on wrote a sports page longer than you have been reading them. Haven't always been a fan, but try to lighten up a little if we are all fans of WVU.
