Tubby Started the initial recruitment because I remember seeing him at a HHS game watching Pat.
Yeah, he started it. He was known for not sealing the deal. He didn't seal the deal and gets no real credit for getting PP unless you also want to agree that Rick gets credit for the 98 title because the players were recruited and taught by him.

You're right. I totally forgot about Pat waiting until the last day of the signing period after Tubby left. Thank god those 2 managed to get him here.

When Cal took over the following players went elsewhere: Carter, Porter, Galloway, Stewart, Pilgrim, Tucker, Williams and Villarino. Cal only kept 6 players and kept recruits Hood and Orton. Cal added four recruits.
Because Tubby had connections to his HS coach, if I remember correctly.
Tubby almost always went for what was easy in recruiting, as opposed to what was best.
BP should of been a career back up.
That whole class was a joke. Just like the coach who recruited them.
