...and up goes the middle finger to the Big 12
I hope it is cold and they freeze their nuts off. Enjoy...and up goes the middle finger to the Big 12
Went to game day last time it was here. I thought it sucked. They never interacted with the crowd or did anything to entertain. It was basically just people cheering for a camera. Total waste of time.
Good. Now we have some semblance of hope we can win without that waste of time distraction....and up goes the middle finger to the Big 12
But to be Devil's Advocate for a moment, WMU going 12-0 is a bigger story than us having one loss and OU having two duking it out for a possible three way tie after next Saturday.Good. Now we have some semblance of hope we can win without that waste of time distraction.
could not agree more. Would ESPN pass up any other P5 top 10 matchup this late in the season that has a huge impact on conference championship for a Western MeChicken?Well, ESPN has already told the committee to not select a Big 12 school and a two loss Michigan or Ohio State is much better for ratings for the playoff.......
I agree with many of the posters that I personally do not care if Gameday comes to Morgantown or not. But I do not believe for one minute that WMU, undefeated or not, playing against Buffalo is a better story than two top ten, Big 12 teams playing each other late in the season. If it is a bigger story it is because ESPN wants it to be and are doing everything they can to make it that way.But to be Devil's Advocate for a moment, WMU going 12-0 is a bigger story than us having one loss and OU having two duking it out for a possible three way tie after next Saturday.
Neither is any North Dakota State game, but Gameday went there. They're trying to branch out to different schools (I know this season's SEC tour smacks that premise in the face), or "the little guys," as it were, and WMU has a chance to go 12-0. Our game against OU won't determine anything but our essential elimination from the conference race. Had Baylor not fallen off the map and we not crapped the bed in Stillwater, that game would have had implications. I'd say if any Big XII game gets Gameday this year, it'll be Bedlam if we once again lose to OU.I agree with many of the posters that I personally do not care if Gameday comes to Morgantown or not.
