I guess since Shelby moved their game to Thursday, they will probably be scouting burns/Lincolnton game Friday
Sad News in Hickory today. WHKY has cut their sports department loose. They have cut their sports coverage out totally. No warning, just a budget cut! Social media has taken a lot of advertising dollars form AM radio over the past several years. I hate it for the employees that will lose their paycheck and for the community that depended on the radio sation to kepp them informed. They have even erased any mention of sports from their website.

Maiden got top billing, this week, in the Lincoln Times-News, sports section (in case you pass by a newspaper rack). The article gives props to quarterback B. Blackwell who had 300 yards through the air.
There are a couple of good action photos of the Game with the Blue Devils sporting an all white natty-looking uniform.

Our local sports voices are picking Lincolnton, but by really close numbers. This tells me the game could go either way.

They ain’t taking Burns cause of Lincolnton having that good game with Maiden plus it’s just Lincolnton in general. which beefs up their stock and Burns losing big to KM. Pretty much that’s how a lot of people pick em’ but I’m telling folks not to sleep on ole Burns cause…they went down almost to the wire with Crest. I favor Lincolnton like the next man but it is a winnable game for Burns if there is turnovers.East Lincoln

Hey those games I mentioned ain’t this week they’re just local action suggestions for later when the pick em’s get tight and competitive and they will after this week. Appreciate that. If its a game thats pretty decided before hand he prob need to stay out and heal and play when it super matters to get in playoffs. Conf champs for them has already been out of question.

. But I know some people are laying the blame on Agee injury and I'd probably agree from what I heard.
He's been dealing with this all summer and I take it the camps probably was agee trying to get seen.
But he's been seeing a trainer all off season and training hard, and I would think a good trainer would have held him out to keep from complicating the injury worse.
But maybe he didn't tell the trainer about it and hide it to keep pushing I don't know.
But heard several NL people blaming the trainer

Injuries are injuries. I hate that for their main player that was there during the big run 2 years ago. Looking at their JV's seems they might be back on the rise they winnning games again after 2 or more years of almost nothing, but thats JVs were talking bout however North does sorta carry a history of having good teams coming from good JVs from the year and 2 before.
