No, actually most Crest fans do have an issue with losing period. You have been so good for so long nothing less than 15-0 seasons, 56-7 win margins, and state titles every year will do. The way some of you people are talking you would think Crest went 2-9 and missed the playoffs rather than 9-4 and into the second round. You have a coach that has gone 24-4 with a state title and a playoff appearance in just 2 years. But, he gets no credit for the wins, especially last year because people just say, "oh well with that group anybody could have won blah blah blah." No credit for the wins, but has his head called for with just 4 loses all of which came to solid programs, 3 of which are still in the playoffs this year. Bottom line, anybody that really thinks that guy needs to be fired after the two years he has had, needs to run to CVS and buy and enema fast.

It's hard to see a team play one game and past judgment to a team and think you know what is and isn't our problem and to think you know the people that watch it every week are over reacting!

It's easy for fans of a program that is good every 5 to 10 years to feel like fans of a team that is always good are spoiled! We know our team!!!!

We are a shell of ourselfs!

Presnap penalties, players not on the field for different situations, and most turnovers have nothing to do with talent .
Nor do they have much to do with coaching... They have a lot to do with the players.... Players don't pay attention to the coaches yelling punt team... Players lose their cool and get personal fouls players jump offsides no matter how much coaching they've had. And turnovers... Well those are luck, freak accidents that defy the laws of nature and some are just smart players making smart plays.

Disciplined teams don't do that and that comes from good coaching.

You Crest Fans should join Richmond County fans club.....you guys think your team should win state titles every year or win big games all the time. There are a lot of good teams out there and there are also good coaches out there. This is HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL. You fans think the head coach should be fired for winning season. You are nutty than a fruitcake. I don't know the man but he is getting pennies for the job he doing for Crest or any high school football in State of NC. They do not make money that the time they put in for SURE. Respect the coaches ....they give up a lot of hours away from family, personal time and MONEY in order to coach high school football team.

High School football is not a BUSINESS like College or PRO football.. 2 years and both of you fans are screaming your head off to fire coaches. GEEZ.....There are more important things in life than HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL. Look in the mirror and say to yourselves, are you willing to go College for four years or more in order to be a teacher at high school and then also be a coach over 15-18 years old kids? What's more, there are a tub full of helicopter parents out there pressuring the principal or head coach about playing their kids...... Give ANY coach SUPPORT during the time he coach the team. If the higher up in school board or principal decide to fire the coach, that is their decision. Only time you should support the head coach is when he commit some kind of illegal activities that he is being charged and found guilty of. The head coach put in a lot more hours than any of the fans out there to guide high school football team during the season (that goes for any head coach in any sports for that matter)

The times we are in right now has changed so much in past 40 to 50 years.....the kids does not show much respect to teachers and coaches now compare to years ago (60-80's) Sure there are some kids that are great to coaches as far as respect but I am talking about overall. I admire and commend those coaches all over the USA that put in their times for being coaches. Some of them will be great coaches in College and Pro football teams in the future. Quit whining and support your school to the fullest until the season is over. There are always NEXT YEAR.

No one expects a championship every year but we do expect to be about to line up and compete!

Sometimes it's about the way you lose people were not complaining after the Shelby game we competed and lost by 2 and that's the best team in the state across all classifications, and that like being a carolina basketball fan and losing to Dook!

Shell of your selfs. What fans need to understand is player s leave every year and there's no guarantee you will replace them with the same caliber of kids talent wise. Crest will lose alot of talented seniors this year so for everyone saying these guys will be back to the championship years I say maybe , or maybe not. Burns will loose 23 seniors ,most of them start somewhere. So it's not realistic to think they will will 10 games next year. We have some good young players that need to develop and so does Crest. That's what makes high school football the best.

Everything you pointed out = your coach whipped our coach you made my point for me coaching is way more than the X's and O's! Being prepared, team mindset, team demeanor, addituade, all of it is part of coaching!

A team will take in the personality of its coach and leader now you see ours!

I don't think anyone on the crest side has an issue with losing its how we lost we know what we are capable of and last night was piss poor!

Sorry if it sounds disrespectful to your fine football team it's not ment that way we just expect more![/QUOT
Felt no disrespect at all. I can understand. You guys have a great history and a great program. A second round playoff loss does nothing to change that. The standard at crest is so high. I just think some of the Crest fans just need to give it some time. Cant be state champs every year.

That is how I saw it last night. Crest had an off night and we played our best defensive game of the year. Things happen. I wonder if we were the best defensive team Crest has seen all year? I was impressed with several Crest players who weren't the super star D1 recruits. They have plenty to build on next year, and will be another 9 win team or better next year. Nothing but tons of respect for Crest

And that is ok. The kids gave it all they had. High expectations often cloud reality. I have to face the reality about my Falcons. We have flaws and are not the perfect team, but as long as the kids leave it all on the field that is all I or you can ask. The reality was that Crest had a great group of "core talent" this year that by themselves as individuals were some of the best in the state. However you take the field with 11. Crest had the core but the others are young and will be much better in years to come. West just had the best 11.

The Chargers didn't improve anywhere all season and that's what's disappointing!

Thats right everyone says yall will be back and we are young but but talented but they didn't improve one but in 12 games what makes anyone think they will in the next 9 months with no games to play?

The first year coach Barnes came in he took a team that struggled to win 7 games and had a whole mess of bad habits for the coaching staff before!

The next year he took that team with an avg QB and went to the state championship game and was a great kicker missing an extra point from winning a state championship!

He had about 4 plays that they did well and 3 of them was out of the wild cat and he had his football team do those plays very well, but they were disciplined, ready to play on game day, we cut the flags out, we play special team better than the other team did, and he NEVER had his team trying to do ANYTHING that they were not capable of doing!

It don't matter if you run it 70 times a game and win 7 to 0 a win is a win, it seams now that we are to worried about style points and looking pretty than we were about scoring more points that the team lined up across from us!

All the fans from thelse other teams can't understand this only seeing us play one game a year we know it we see it every Friday night, call us spoiled if you want but every single fan at every single game can't all be wrong! Just because your a fan and not a coach don't mean you are completely stupid and know nothing! We have seen good football and what a well coached team looks like!

You coach took yours and beat ours Friday night and we could play next Friday and switch coaches and your coach would beat yours with ours!
