Crest running game is good. At least 5 yards a run. Don't know why their coach has went away from it.
I decided to attend the crest game...please fire this coach chargers...it's so obvious...I'm sorry, I don't mean any anger, or anything, I have not a care in the world! But! Seriously, y'all are better than this.

I don't know if he can coach or not. But I DO KNOW that this isn't the same Crest squad that was around the previous 3 years. Give it a couple more years. This was a young, inexperienced, small team. In another year or two, we'll see...

He was getting 5 yards a carry on the ground and you keep throwing it and it was pick after pick! Then you get a pick and run it back to the 20 and throw it 3 times in a row and miss a field goal!
It's the 2nd round of the playoff and you can't get player on the field for punts field goals or what ever the situation is!
That WR team is a nice football team but if anyone really thinks that they are 28 points better than the talent we have on that crest sideline your crazy!

You are correct. When you can just lineup in the wildcat and no one can stop it. It isn't all that difficult .
Even 7-0 and when it was 14-0. Crest was running the ball 5 yards a carry. We would get a big stop sometimes as well, but I was surprised he went away from the run early. After 21-0 he had no choice but to try and pass. Crest could not block our pass rush nor beat our Corners.

If we keep running the ball we don't have to block your pass rush, if we keep running it getting 5 yards a carry you have to put more in the box to stop it then passing get alot easier!

My Ulla falcon fan was right in another thread. If Crest gives up 4-5 turnovers then WR would win. Crest gave up 6-7 turnovers. Poor coaching decisions aside, no way you can beat a decent team doing that. Congrats West Rowan. Good luck moving forward
Congrats to west Rowan on your win and good luck from here out,your QB can pass and receivers can catch....you have my respect but you didn't beat my chargers that I go watch week after week and year after year....you beat a man that thinks he's a coach,,,,And if he is still there next year then they won't get another $ from me and I live for high school football....great game by the falcons and you deserved it,, AND THE CHARGERS DESERVES SOMEONE WHO KNOWS HOW TO COACH

Crest is a good young team. I was very impressed with their linebacker play. All of them not just the big boy lol. Our defensive front was able to put pressure on the QB all night. I think that was the key factor
I agree, That loss is not the coaches fault. West was the better team. 3 kids going to D1 does not beat 11 good players who are well coached and talented. Crest is just young in some spots. They will be back to those glory days soon. Give the coach and the kids some time
We were 35 points better. Your 7 came against the 2 string. That attitude is why Crest lost.
That was Crest problem when they got off the bus. The idea that they were superior because they were big and they were Crest. They thought they had it in the bag. Everything about them was cocky and light hearted. During the pregame field walk when they first arrived a couple players went walking through mid field scuffing their cleats through the Falcon in the middle of the field messing the turff up. When they came down the hill prior to taking the field they were chanting "We ready, we ready, we ready for y'all. Simple fact is that they were not. The best receiver was our Kortez Weeks. The best linebacker was our LJ Robinson. The best Dline was ours. The best game plan and coaching staff was ours. The best defensive corners were ours. We were more physical. We were faster. We were better.
I think you are being a little hard on him. Crest was just young in some areas and did not match up well against us. Crest will be back to normal soon. Give the coach and the kids some time.
Everything you pointed out = your coach whipped our coach you made my point for me coaching is way more than the X's and O's! Being prepared, team mindset, team demeanor, addituade, all of it is part of coaching!
A team will take in the personality of its coach and leader now you see ours!
I don't think anyone on the crest side has an issue with losing its how we lost we know what we are capable of and last night was piss poor!

The kids are not the problem I wish you could just have seen the change in this teams personally since the end of the 2014 season and even the start of the 2015 season, you might would understand more of the reason he feels this way!
No, actually most Crest fans do have an issue with losing period. You have been so good for so long nothing less than 15-0 seasons, 56-7 win margins, and state titles every year will do. The way some of you people are talking you would think Crest went 2-9 and missed the playoffs rather than 9-4 and into the second round. You have a coach that has gone 24-4 with a state title and a playoff appearance in just 2 years. But, he gets no credit for the wins, especially last year because people just say, "oh well with that group anybody could have won blah blah blah." No credit for the wins, but has his head called for with just 4 loses all of which came to solid programs, 3 of which are still in the playoffs this year. Bottom line, anybody that really thinks that guy needs to be fired after the two years he has had, needs to run to CVS and buy and enema fast.
Presnap penalties, players not on the field for different situations, and most turnovers have nothing to do with talent .
