Hard not to like Joe when you watch him in action. It seems like he should become a really good HC. We'll see. I hope he does.

Every fan needs to see that

I don't know how these next 20 or so football games go. But he deserves support in that process. He is 11-6 and has legit young talent scattered across multiple posotions. He also plays them. And he deserves a shot to coach them. A high school recruit should absolutely consider that. If you're good enough to play, you will. Frustrations are fair. But he deserves public support as he makes it through that process. I think he can be an awesome representative for our university.

The last minute of that segment was outstanding. Anyone that's ever been in a locker room should appreciate that.

it's easy to see why he's such a hell of a recruiter. He seems too smart, too passionate, too dedicated to not be successful. I hope it pans out. Hopefully the inconsistencies of the team we see is him going through the normal growing pains of becoming a big time HC.

I really is crazy for some people to expect a change from a coach like Mullen to a completely different personality, completely different style of coaching, and completely different system without some hicups along the way. We cannot afford to be like Tennessee where we bounce from coach to coach paying tens of millions of dollars along the way for predictably bad results. The only time MSU has EVER had success is when we got the best coach we could get and gave that person time to build. I'm honestly a little shocked there hasn't been more of a drop off.

As for critique, nothing wrong with that. I think we need a better strength coach, or a better strength program if we keep the same coach, and we need to be better on defense, whether that is scheme, players or the coach I don't know. Definitely things to fix but we need to give the man some time.

Dont put that out there. You know he is stupid and it is too hot anyways to care. We should have hired Saban when Mullen left and given him 6 games to get it right or kick him down the road.

I'm just going to give him a pass and say it's growing pains of becoming a new HC and some of the frustrations is the way he talked when he got here and he didn't live up to those high standards. That's okay. At least he was confident and then man enough to admit he was too confident.

I see many similarities with him and Mullen personality wise though. Moorhead may get even more fired up than Mullen. Whenever Moorhead is talking to the team, he's intense. Moorhead is obviously more likable and charming though and it shows in his recruiting. He's very likable and LOVES to recruit. Dan isn't that likable and HATES to recruit.

Seems like a guy that would do really well with the high school coaches around the state as well, which is likely one of the reasons our recruiting class was 90% finished by the end of August.

Moorhead is the anti-Mullen in many ways. Very accessible, very easy to like. I’ve had a few short conversations with him at basketball games, both mens & women’s, and he’s just a good dude. I really hope we give him time to be our guy.

Is it just me, or are the production values slipping?

It looked like a bunch of high-def video, a decent soundtrack, and the occasional voice-over.
I enjoyed the game prep clips, but the highlights felt nothing like the ebbs and floes of the actual game.
Maybe I'm just spoiled by Hard Knocks.

Oh yeah? Really excited about him. I think he's underrated and may be most underrated guy in the class currently. He does not look like a typical OL. This guy is athletic, strong and sculpted. From what I've seen, he doesn't have all that extra flab a lot of OL have. He seems dedicated to the weight room. Seems like an athletic OL. I think he'll be a 3 year starter for us.

What can you tell us about your grand nephew and congrats I know your family must be incredibly proud!
