It’s more than coaching. Other than our WR and RB rooms, what position group is B1G quality?

We don’t have 1 NFL prospect on D which is rare for a P4 team.

I want a real coach but also a real GM too. I think Greg's biggest sin is player acquisition/retention. They clearly don't have the horses on defense this year, and his portal classes have been total misses, especially this year.

Do you think the head coach signs off on recruits, or just lets the assistants and scouts send out the scholarships and learns about the players once they run out for first practice?
Schiano is responsible for final talent evaluation of every player on this team. He has totally lost it. Whatever magic recruiting technique he had 20 years ago in 2006 he has lost it

Magic recruiting technique was Syracuse firing their coach and honoring a scholarship to an injured recruit.

Happens when you don't respect the portal. He took his sweet time hiring a coordinator and lost out on getting quality players to come this year.

Serious lack of talent on RU at certain positions. Some of the talent eval and overall team building has been terrible. Not just a good Coach & Co. away, the program needs an influx of talent, especially on the D.

Get a coach and watch the talent come in. UCLA brought in 42 players along with a good coach are are currently 7-0. They finished 3-9 last year

Of course. We need both better coaching and better talent but when I watched NDSU play NM last night I thought we can’t best there teams - there geo and it is - and they have 2* kids up and down the roster

The only rooms that are P4 competent are RB and WR. A couple OL guys are pretty decent but the room overall is not P4.
