If either one of you bet on Ohio State to cover that large spread, then shame on you, as I told you that 14.5 points was too many. Nebraska's nine-point loss to Ohio State was its first two-possession loss of the season. I expect Saturday's game vs. Purdue to be similar. Don't lay the 20 points, as that's too many, too. Alabama was a 29-point favorite vs. LSU, and won by 6 points. No school, with the possible exception of Georgia, is dominant this season.
Your perception is accurate, Tony. I still remember sitting in the pouring rain to see tOSU block a field goal to preserve a win over Drew Brees & Company many years ago.
