Got recruited over for Brad! It's Saul 2.0, losing talent because of the coach's son.

Kidding of course. Kid is going to a masters program at Carnegie Mellon

That's huge news for him. Talk about making the most of your youth. Walk-on basketball player at a major program, then your masters at Carnegie Mellon.

There's not a better school in the country for someone with his major. Apparently even our walk-ons get drafted high.

He probably got tired of all those college girls wanting to smash a UK player cutting into his study time.

Carnegie Melon it is!

Best of luck to the guy, he will be able to look back on college with great memories

Um.. We will have a Sr.. Johnny David.. Sr type leadership.. :)
I mean...does he count? Pretty sure you have to at least take one shot or dribble the basketball for two consecutive seconds in order for it to count. Assumed the NCAA would actually grant him his year of eligibility back.

In all honestly I actually forgot about Johnny. Something about having two first names makes him untrustworthy...

Honest question, would ya rather have one year of John Wall or 4 years of Johnny David. Before all these threads on senior leadership/experience trumping all, I could've sworn the answer was Wall. Not so sure anymore tho.

I know it probably shouldn't matter, but one of the few times in my life where I get goosebumps is on Senior night when they play My Old Kentucky Home and EVERYBODY is singing along. I have never seen so many tears in one place. It is almost magical. It is even better when that senior is a Kentucky boy, walk on or not.
