I find it interesting all of the chatter over the last two major hires, not including Frost which was probably the worst kept secret in college football. Moos was never a name that was mentioned as an AD candidate and low and behold, he is the new Nebraska AD. Then today, some names have been floated around about a new DL coach but Tyioti was not among them unless I missed it somewhere.

All this goes to show us, none of us really knows what is going on in Lincoln. At least if someone is, they aren't on this board telling us about it.

Well, one candidate is temporarily out of a job so his name didn't need to be kept secret I suppose, but the other candidates really didn't want their names out there since they are currently gearing up to coach spring football and recruiting players for 2020. I think it might have been Nate Clouse who mentioned the top three candidates including Coach Tuioti, but really overall it's pretty impressive how well the staff was able to keep last week's interviews pretty secret.

People look way too much in to things like Twitter activity and such so it usually heads down the wrong path.

I think some of it is reading the tea leaves. People thought coach Kool because the pieces lined up. He followed the right people on Twitter. He was looking for a job. Etc. it was at least an educated guest.

Lets be honest unless someone on here is Scott Frost or BIll Moos or Hank Bonds. 99% of what gets talked about or said on here about what is or could happen involving UNL or its athletics is speculations. I am assuming that none of those 3 are on here, so everything we see on here should be taken with a grain of salt and for fun. Not as cold hard fact. I am here just for fun, not to gain some "inside" information. Like your post suggest. More often than not, the "insider" information provided on here is usually wrong.
