Why?? You think Cals out of the woods? When sharpe saga goes down to script cal will get more crap than losing to the 15 seed. It’s embarassing what he has enabled sharpe to do and nothing has changed only gotten worse for cal. He accomplished nothing in the last month plus. No filling of holes no roster really. He’s losing the top transfers now. The bottom is close to falling out very soon. Cals days are numbered im still not convinced he returns. If he can’t field what he considers a contender he will bolt. Btw before you start with all the way to early polls. Those polls are counting on certain things happening that are not. Also every year we are a top 5 team and then crap the bed in a massive way. Been that way since 2015. Ranked top 5 never finish top five. The patience has run out. Watch and see when sharpe bolts. It will make the dynasty defenders look like child’s play.
They think they’re in an Oasis, and Cal led them there. He did, but it’s quicksand. Followers gonna follow I suppose. Blind following the blind.

I keep seeing the response “we didn’t have the NIL”. Sharpe cannot make half at UK what he can make in the NBA. The NIL is irrelevant here.

If Calipari was legitimately backtracking and changing his approach I would applaud that. But posters who are big Cal guys said for years, you can’t get better in college. You HAVE to take the money. I argued against it for years and was told how selfish I was.

I just think it should be acknowledged. This was never about morality it was about attracting the best players. It wasn’t until he was unable to finish the jobs that he went all in on creating a false choice between winning and morality. He can lose that **** I won’t listen to any more of that personally.

This is 100% true.

Anybody that can’t see through Cal’s ways just won’t allow it to enter their brains. They’ve come to believe he is family, and family never does no wrong. Don’t know how anyone can be so obsessed with a coach, but here it is. Mind boggling.
you need to meet my family.

Truthfully, I don’t know how much NIL money Sharpe could earn next year at UK. But there is a variable here that’s different from in the past.

Has Cal changed enough to walk the Sharpe camp through that math? Maybe he’s desperate enough that he will.

I’m not convinced Sharpe will accept any level of risk, though. Seems pretty risk averse.

OK..... let me sum this thread up.

Dave...... admits he doesn't know what he is talking about.

Kyle Tucker....... Says "I think" and posters assume he knows.

Bottom line: Nothing new, nobody knows.

Good job guys.
Except he never said “I think”. Listen i’m no Tucker fan by any stretch but i’m sure he knows more than your local Rafters “insider”.

There’s no way guys like Sharpe can match top lottery money by returning to college. I know around what Duren got from a really good deal to go to Memphis and it’s not even 20% of what he’ll earn in the NBA.

He was going to be here for the 22-23 season...then his camp says he will be here then he might declare...now hes going to test the waters but not hire an agent.....and this little drama episide could very well cost us a couple players from the portal...
Just announce what the hell everybody already knows and leave.Cal will just have to take the heat for this fiasco. He wont be here so why should he give a crap about what fans think. Most already have an opinion about this soap opera anyway....gooooooo...runnnnnnn...
Yet Cal let's this happen all the time and we lose out on players all the time. Players first!!

Sorry, but if I'm a GM ..first thing I do is ask why he didn't play last year if he was going to go pro..

..there's already been questions about his on court drive ... not playing and lying to a coaching staff would make me hesitant to use a lottery pick no matter the talent. Had he played and went that's different. If he sticks to what he and his camp have told the coaching staff that's also different. But zero chance I risk a basket case with Ben Simmons motivation on a kid I didn't even get to see play d1 ball..

Of course he can, and with every delay, he just looks more and more slimier, just like his "coach."
You're entitled to your opinion. I doubt he's even remotely wondering what any of us think. Nothing personal, just business.
Blessings

I agree,I'd almost assume he or his camp was lying and hiding something.

St. Louis had the most WS in the NL.
I believe 11?
And I'm a Reds fan.
Reds and Yankees fan here and as I get older I also keep liking the Whitesox as well.Loved Rose and Bench from my childhood but started liking the Yankees due to Thurman Munson.Sad day the day he died in that plane crash.

Why? Sounds like a hater to me. What have you got against Dave?
Well, your an “All-American”. You should know by now but I don’t argue with blind people.

Also, not sure if serious? Dave and his recruiting blunders are well documented on here. You just wanna stir up ****, you picked the right one.

Was a really great catcher.I know most look at his numbers and say he doesn't have HOF stats but he was a leader and well respected player...but I'm also still pushing Pete Rose to be put in the Hall. Its past time.
