Well it's gonna be Auburn

[DAWG61]

that didn't take long. 8-0 Auburn still batting in the top 1st.

[UpTheMiddlex3Punt]

That's a meltdown of epic proportions

[T-TownDawgg]

You.

Clogging up the front page with redundant thread

For my obligatory Germany reference, the last major political/military crisis to occur in Europe was Germany's Berlin crisis. Interestingly, this took place in '61.

[Dawg1976]

11-0 now. Let them get it out of their system before we play them.

[DAWGS1.sixpack]

Yep.
Would rather have faced UNC but the war tigers it will be.

Disagree, I think Auburn is the preferred opponent. UNC was in Omaha last year so they are one of the few teams who can come close to matching our experience. Auburn will be in uncharted waters, first trip for them since ‘97, and it’s a team we beat twice in the regular season and should’ve swept. Not to mention their pitching staff has been held together by tooth picks and bubble gum all year.

Feel like we have a clear edge against either of these two with Small on the mound anyway.

[UpTheMiddlex3Punt]

Auburn already pulled their starter

[RPOdawg]

Auburn is who we want between those two. Their lineup is much easier to navigate through than North Carolina’s.

[Shamoan]

they are really bad down and out of the zone. they chase a lot. really might want to consider plum against them. they hit the upper part of the zone as good as anyone.

[UpTheMiddlex3Punt]

Why the hell didn't UNC start this guy?

[UpTheMiddlex3Punt]

And they pull him and Auburn goes right back to scoring

[WilCoDawg]

Clearly UNC didn’t have someone riding in the left lane to slow Auburn’s scoring.

[InTheIttaBenaHotSun]

Ha! I see what you did there WilCo....
